Glass Path Garden Fence Mural Five years ago I broke both legs and to cheer myself up while I couldn't walk we painted a waterfall on the cast on my right leg. The water flowed from my toes and pooled at my ankle. That way when I looked down at my legs I could smile. I recreated the painting on our garden fence as a testament to turning something bad into something good. I often tell my students that changing your perspective is like walking into a dark room. As soon as you flick a switch everything changes!
