Stargirl Appreciation Week Day 5: Favourite Scene 

For me, what really strikes me about this scene isn’t just the cinematography and the score, even though they both elevate the moment. It’s the shock, gratitude and sheer relief in Courtney’s eyes to fall out of the Shadowlands and into the arms of her mom, and then the scene’s bookend...Cindy stumbling out of the Shadowlands missing and mourning hers.
