and like, we should defend ppl’s rights to work through their feelings, but we should also interrogate how this particular work-through impacts ppl who do identify with various other sexual identities esp. with regard to queer identities, who get fucked with on the reg for their sexual feelings
well look at you being all smart and correct and stuff. I also agree with this. For myself, I’ve felt really confused trying to understand how asexuality in all its many forms works, because of aforementioned tendency to identify with a lot of the experiences ace people talk about. But at the same time, I sometimes feel like it’s an odd thing to define your sexual experience based solely on how you reaction to other people.
my sexual experience happens mostly in my head, mostly in fantasy land, and I think the fantasy vs. reality split that a lot of people have is an important thing to consider when it comes to sex.
