Work from a recent editorial shoot @ Miller's Smokehouse, a family-owned barbecue joint in downtown Belton, Texas.
I always love my job, but somedays I love it a little bit more. There’s something about fire, meat and smoky pit rooms that just makes me a happy camper. And as an unapologetic Texas barbecue snob I can attest to the tender flavorful brisket, tasty house-made sausage and surprisingly moist, fall-off-the-bone pit-smoked chicken at Miller’s. They also have house-made desserts, coffee and cold brew (insider tip: they roast their own coffee beans right up the road).
All the credit and thanks go to Amadeo Chapa and Dusty Miller for making this an awesome photoshoot. Thanks guys!
