Doll scavenger bag
Does the gang need bags to carry all their stuff while going about the day? Look no further! Scavenger bags for everyone!
Needle size: 2 us x5 yarn: 4 ply (i used basic red heart)
Base: CO 10 stitches on 1 needle Stocking Knit 8 rows
Body: Switching to 5 needles (4 works, i just prefer 5 so each side of the square has one) Knit 10 (needle 1), Pick up 4 (needle 2), Pick up 10 from cast on (needle 3), Pick up 4 (needle 5)
Knit in the round until piece is roughly 3.5 cm tall, or until desired height
Knit 5, place stitch marker, knit 14, place stitch marker, knit 14 (you should have 1 stitch marker in the middle of needles 1 and 3; the one on 1 is your new start of the round)
Base of strap: Knit to last 2 stitches, purl 2 Purl 2, knit to 2 before marker, purl 4, knit to end Repeat these 2 rows once more
Straps: Knit 14 to marker; move remaining 14 to a holder for second strap later and switch to 2 needles Knit 2, purl to last 2, knit 2 Knit 2, K2tog, knit to last 4, K2tog, knit 2 (12) Knit 2, purl to last 2, knit 2 Knit 2, K2tog, knit to last 4, K2tog, knit 2 (10) Knit 2, purl to last 2, knit 2 Knit 2, K2tog, knit to last 4, K2tog, knit 2 (8) Knit 2, purl to last 2, knit 2 Knit 2, K2tog, knit to last 4, K2tog, knit 2 (6) Knit 2, purl to last 2, knit 2 Knit 2, K2tog, knit 2 (5) Knit 2, purl , knit 2 Knit 1, knit 3 together, Knit 1 Garter stitch for 25 rows
Repeat strap for the second one Bind off/sew ends of the straps together
Go forth and carry all the things!
