description: Bard was found as a baby by Falk and Eir, the leaders of a nomadic human group in the lands of Lordaeron, Arathi, and Stromguard. They were hunters, trappers, and traders, selling furs and hides to the towns and cities in the northern human kingdoms. Bard grew up traveling from the tip of Stranglethorn to the northern shores of Lordaeran, hunting various beasts and animals, selling their pelts and hides, as well as the occasional bounty. By the age of thirteen, he knew the entirety of the human and dwarven countries of the Eastern Kingdoms like the back of his hand. It didn’t take him very long to memorize the rest of it.
At the age of 18, the clan was nearly wiped out by the undead plague and attacks from the newly risen undead. A year later, Bard found himself completely alone in the world after the remaining clan members and his parents were killed by orc marauders, betrayed by one of their own. After burying his parents, Bard went on a ten year rampage against the Orcs, using the skills gained from his life in the clan, he hit them hard, dealing severe damage. He became well known and well feared.
Then his rampage ended suddenly and quietly. In the ruins of an orc encampment, beside its dead mother, Bard found a wolf pup, orphaned by his actions and his rage. In the pup, Bard saw himself and found salvation. As his parents had with him, Bard took in the pup so that they might find a family in each other, side by side in this cruel world. After that, Bard steered clear from all conflict between the Alliance and the Horde. Though he still held his prejudice and hatred towards the Orcs of the Horde, he didn’t ever wish to kill out of hatred ever again.
And thus, Bard began his adventures, exploring the whole of Azeroth, with his wolf, Ishild, by his side.
