Bar Dojo

We had dinner not too long ago with our two good friends. What other reason to grab dinner with your friends than to catch up and enjoy each others company. Joanne found a restaurant in Edmonds that sounded appealing. Bar Dojo is a restaurant found in a tiny strip mall situated in a residential neighborhood. They label their food as modern Asian sourcing their ingredients to represent the Pacific Northwest. The menu isn't too extensive and I must say, I wanted to try everything on it.

Chili Lime Wings w. Chili Lime Sauce

Coconut Prawns - White Prawns, Coconut, Curry Leaf Breading, Mint Chutney

Braised Beef Noodles - Short Rib, Braised Egg, Bok Choy, Sichuan Chili, & Beef Broth

Black Cod Kasuzuke - Sake Marinated, Soybean Ragu, Roasted Peppers, Lemon Aioli

Smoked Tea Chocolate Mousse - Tea Infused Mousse, Mandarin Orange Confit, Caramel Sauce, & Sesame Brittle

Banana Tempura - Fried Banana, Coconut Gelato, Orange Reduction, & Sesame

Dinner was delicious. The service was smooth as we were never waited more than 10 minutes for our food (that's just an estimate). The restaurant itself is small. There are about 10 -12 tables with additional seating at the bar. Between the four of us, the bill came out a little over $100. Not too bad for a dinner I'd say. We'll definitely come back in the near future.
