𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🌮 Last week I visited @tacospadre down at @boroughmarket who are serving up, erm, tacos haha, and other Mexican dishes. Throughout the week they sell tacos by the 1s and 2s but it’s a Friday and Saturday night when the full menu comes out. You’ve got nibbles, like crab tostada, guac, or oysters, then you’ve got small plates, such as chipotle mussels, which were BEAUTIFUL, fish tacos, ceviche, and more. But this is all about the sharing tacos. Everything comes deconstructed so you can build them yourself. There’s a choice of 4; Cauliflower with avocado, toasted coconut, and pumpkin. Whole grilled brill, English peas, and jalapeños. Crispy pork carnitas, pork glaze, and xi-ni-pec. Smoked short rib, burnt onion, and pomegranate. We went for the smoked rib, and you get around 6 tacos out of it, depending on how deep you pack them. With the 2 other smaller dishes we had I’d say this was definitely enough food, but if you can’t decide between the beef and pork, like myself, then maybe go for both in place of the small dishes. The beef short rib was very good though, cooked perfectly, fell apart with a fork.
