When he looked over his shoulder, squinted a little, and kept the sun out of his eyes, he could just see the Korcari Wilds in the distance. And maybe that shape that was a little darker than the rest of the darkness, maybe that was the Tower of Ishal, but he wasn’t sure. He couldn’t be sure, it was too far away. He kept glancing back over his shoulder until he nearly tripped over his own feet, after which he turned his attention forward again. A quick glance to Morrigan to make sure she hadn’t seen, before he took a couple of quick steps forward, moving closer to his fellow Warden.
“Athelya?” He fell into step with the elven woman who was, beside him of course, the only Warden left in Ferelden. “Are you okay?” There had been a certain tension between the two of them from the very first time they had met, and Alistair wasn’t quite sure what that all was about. As far as he was aware, he hadn’t really misbehaved towards her, had actually tried his very best to help her, and yet she was icy towards him. Not like Morrigan was. The Witch was just a bitch apparently. No, there was clearly something going on or had happened between him and Warden Tabris, and he wanted to get to the bottom of it all. Mainly because there was a huge chance that they were going to have to spend a lot of time in each other’s company.
