A worthy (dance) cause
I know a guy. His name is Mike Esperanza.
Mike was in my wife's wedding party (you read that correctly, I had females in my wedding party, we basically don't give an eff).
Mike is a good dude.
Mike is a gifted graphic artist and photographer (we utilized both talents for the wedding).
Mike also happens to be a scrumtrulescent choreographer.
My wife has danced for him. My sister has danced for him.
Also, in case you didn't know, dancers make no money. Like, none. They don't do what they do because they're looking to get rich. Instead, all of us bozos that go watch their shows and go home in amazement... we are the ones that benefit.
So, all of that said, I present to you a kickstarter project.
Mike's trying to get the funding for 4 dancers (pictured) to fly from NYC to Seattle for the Men in Dance Festival.
They're short of their goal at the moment, and the deadline's a few hours away.
I happen to know a lot of dancers and folks involved with dance (that's what happens when your little sister is a lifelong dance stud and then you compound it by marrying a lifelong dance stud). So, here's a chance folks, other lifelong dance studs, appreciators of art, just love giving money to stuff, whatever...
A worthy dance cause.

(And besides, there's a decent chance you can click "give," feel good about yourself and then not wind up actually having to give! Just saying.)
