Look at antiquarian Christopher’s charming little barn- The stone barn is located in a meadow in Gloucestershire and is part of a larger property, and he fixed it up for guests.
He gutted the interior to create an open plan and used pieces from his own collection to furnish the it.
The loft space has guest accommodations. It’s so cute, it reminds of a doll house.
The comfy sofa features hand-stitched horsehair and down filling. Christopher piled on pillows made from scraps of antique fabrics.
The kitchen table is surrounded by Christopher’s glossy-painted Windsor chairs. He says of his chairs: “We should all have at least one in a heart-rending color.”
He chose Shaker style cabinetry in white.
A stairway leads to the loft sleeping areas of the barn.

Milk Barn Strainer, Large Dairy Milk Funnel Strainer, Galvanized, Farmhouse, Industrial Measures 9 3/4 tall, 12 1/2 wide at base, 5 wide strainer and funnel opening. A great survivor from a farmhouse barn, wear and spots from weather and use. Great large funnel shape with 2nd screen fitted in the funnel with spring clamp. Whether it was used for milk cows to feed a family or a dairy, its use is the same. These make great shades for industrial lighting projects or farmhouse decor to display. Used to filter the milk going into a milk can for storage, before putting in a cold area to separate the cream or put into a cream separator. Galvanized with rust and some wear on edges and spotting, small dent, intact inside. 1920s, or earlier. What a piece of dairy and farm history. Found in Pennsylvania, in a farming community.

The owners of this old red barn were always being told to knock it down, but they decided to hire an architect to convert it to a home.
And, isn’t it amazing? That wall of windows is spectacular.

It would’ve been a shame if they’d have knocked it down.
