Zelmira Gomes is stoked to get to Britechester University; you may know this, but they have the largest epidemiology program in all of the worlds.

She and Rin have been foraging together for years - their research was vastly different; Rin’s was for sustainably, while Zelmira’s was to unlock the secrets of the dead.

Her parents Tziporah & Radwan have always supported her interests; after all, they have a great reverence for the afterlife themselves. They will miss their daughter, but look forward to hearing about all she learns. They also have agreed to watch over her bug collection while she’s gone and follow her strict instructions.

She wanted to take her creepy crawlies with her, but after listening to her parents, she agreed it was probably for the best. Besides, she’ll probably collect more along the way.

Nyon Spectre was, for lack of a better term, nervous to strike off and study at university until he learned his best friend Zelmira will be joining him at Britechester!

He can’t wait.

He’ll miss his mom Olive, but he’s more interested to see if her fiancé Layne wIll be there when he gets back. IYKYK.

Barnabas Tanaka already has 1 million followers on his socials and counting; his fashion commentary has been acknowledged by the likes of Octavia Moon and Vanessa Dreamer (who, by the way, personally presented him with a Dreamland Recipient scholarship as well as a job offer when he graduates.)

All of these accolades makes his parents Kaori & Hiroshi particularly proud - Kaori left his bio dad when Barnabas was very small; she noticed quickly that he did not appreciate how unique their son was. Hiroshi was slightly older, but had a great affection for Kaori. When they married, he took up the role of father immediately and even adopted Barnabas as his own. They are both incredibly proud of their son and are his biggest fans.

Perla Ishida and her best friend Barnabas have managed to do something groundbreaking at Britechester - they were able to convince the administration to allow them to room together!

They were going to find a way to finagle it anyway, but they were able to plead a very compelling case and were approved.

This will give them an edge – not only for studying, but on helping each other, build their social media presence even more ( Perla has 1.5 million followers, by the way )

How does her aunt Yuma and uncle Kengo feel about this? Personally, they think it’s very punk. Besides, he’s been like an honorary nephew anyway.

Speaking of cousins, her cousin Michiko and her fiancé Curtis came back for the commencement ceremony, so that was an added bonus. They have a full calendar – her little Cousin Kori is about to age up, and they’ll all be joining Curtis for his brother’s Britechester commencement.

Does this mean the beginning of wedding plans for them? Guess we’ll see.
