I showed my mom and she assumed I had dressed him up in a bear costume because he is a fat gay man (╥ ω ╥).. it caught me off guard but I see the vision!! Still, I'm giggling over how she immediately assumed he was gay, maybe there is something truly queer about this dog! Or maybe its because i talk about yaoi too much!!!

Lunch was filled with much more delight then the breakfast, sensing a new found hope amongst the inhabitants as they dined. The Detective watched on an feeling the light weight of sense of ease on himself, but more importantly to him. He could see that intertwined with the much more relaxed atmosphere there were the outliers trying to hide, but the Detective knew who they were and he could see them clearly like lights in the pitch dark.
“The investigation is going well Detective?” Howdy asked snapping the Detective out of his trance. “Absolutely Mister Pillar, I’d even say I believe I could nip this crime straight in the bud before it can bloom into a nightmarish blossom.” He confidently answered.
“Glad to hear, well while you’re here to know when I should inform my family about the theft. Since yesterday I was worried to tell them but hiding it won’t make things better.”
The Detective paused for a second playing with a fork in his hand considering what to say. “Not sure, I’ll probably have to get the police involved for further help. But like I stated yesterday those coppers ain’t helping especially up in this weather… my best suggestion is to wait until tomorrow. I still have things to look into”
Howdy sighed fidgeting with the liquid in his glass “I just don’t want to keep them in the dark, but I also don’t want them to worry,”. He took a small drank before turning back to Detective.
“Detective thank you for lending your aid. If you need any from of help with the case, I’ll lend you an hand- actually not just a hand, I’ll lend you 4 of em!”.
Sally gave a warm smile towards howdy as Wally came over and took away their plates. “Thank you for you offer mister pillar but now I have to get back to the case.” He excused himself before making his way back to his room to continue, while every bided him farewell as he left.
The Detective snuck back to his room which had become an makeshift office. Inside was an “cork board” made of some cardboard he “borrowed” from the underground work station, which on said board contained all the various notes he took, along with a view sketches due to the lack of equipment all held up by tape but most importantly hidden in the closet was the once stolen heirlooms.
Sat on the bedroom floor staring at the collage of evidence, he sat there observing the clues, things are falling into place yet they were puzzle pieces yet it still wasn’t complete. He could clearly see the effects of this elaborate heist and cause was obvious but, what was the origin? An perfectly healthy person doesn’t sudden fall deathly sick without reason.
So what caused these dominos to drop?
Knock Knock
Sally turned to the bedroom door after noticing the noise, The Detective got up answering the door only to be met by an surprising visitor.
“Hello Detective, I believe you want to see me.” Wally greeted.
The Detective was taken aback from the sudden visitor along with the fact Wally was correct, He gestured for Wally to enter confirming he was right.
The Detective picked up a pillow off the bed placing it down on the floor for Wally to sit during the interrogation. The Detective took out an notepad sitting down on the end of the bed getting ready to repeat the cycle.
“I’m assuming you’re here from either hearing all your friends placing their faith in me and following their path,”
“Not fully, I do believe in your ability to help. But it’s not the real reason I’m here.” Wally glanced up at the celling then then the “Cork board” before taking a deep breathe.
“I knew you’d come and see me, so I thought I should get it out of the way.”
“So what’s the mastermind gotten you into?” The Detective interjected “what financial nightmare have you gotten caught in? What troubles have you managed to find yourself in?”
“It’s not that it’s just…” Wally paused looking down the floor he took a deep breath as if readying himself for the worst to come.
“I was the one helped the Mastermind come up this plan.”
The room fell silent from the sudden confession. Actually causing the Detective the nearly drop the note pad, Wally was shaking both terrified of what he had along with what ever the Detective was thinking of him.
“You… you orchestrated this heist?”
“Not all of it, I… I uh, um. You see I live the with the mastermind. After work I would tell him about the problems my friends were going through because I felt so bad. I wanted to help them and then he came up with the plan…”
As Wally confused he opened up about he believed he was responsible, one of the reasons being the Mastermind lived with him. Usually whenever Wally came home back from work he would retell the events of the day to the curiosity to his roommate. The routine was simple yet while working at the pillars Wally had over heard how they were looking into an investigation, they daily recap of work events started to derail to speculation of what was this investigation.
Of course said investigation for the heirlooms, When Wally had brought up to the mastermind the true context for the search he started to act a little differently.
Wally didn’t notice anything was wrong at first. When the mastermind asked more intrusive questions about the Pillar Family or his work colleagues. Wally reasoned it was just curiosity, Whenever he’s suddenly disappeared or was out for an odd amount of time, Wally reason it was just for a walk. Even when Wally would go to visit his friends such as seeing Poppy at her second job or joining Julie and Frank’s doctors visits to give support, he’d even swore that he could have seen the mastermind nearby. But he reasoned it as just a coincidence.
Then as the investigation came to end the Mastermind came forth to Wally with what had been doing.
“Stealing the Heirlooms?”
“That’s right kiddo, I’ve got it all figured out: The costs, the skills, the methods, the know all and even the excuses to make a fine operation like this run smoothly.” The mastermind mind reviled horrifyingly detailed maps, notes and even diagrams to prove his point.
“This is right here is what’s gonna help ya friends out, it’s our grandmaster plan!”
“Why are we… our’s? What you mean it’s “our plan”?”
“Aye it’s a grandmaster plan, I put a lotta hard work into it! and I’ve gotta thank you pal.… in fact.” The mastermind paused and placed his hand on Wally’s shoulder.
“I’d even say you came up with the idea, ya see if you didn’t tell me what happened at work I wouldn’t have managed to make it. I mean look at all this, you’re definitely an a good shoulder to relay on pall. But now I think about it…”
As he spoke started to slowly tighten the grip on wally’s shoulder even causing damage to the shirt he was wearing. “I’d even say… you made this. I mean who else would know these things? I’d even say if I showed this em they’d think it was you who could even say that you made all this…”
“So keep that in mind kid, cause I’ll just ask you something… who are they gonna be believe, an well known friend or an complete stranger?”
Wally let out a deep breath out finally feeling an odd sense of freedom, Happy and yet Dreading what would come afterwards. Sally sat there staring deeply at the notes then back at Wally, he stood up adding the additional information to the board.
“Am in tr-“
“You’re not Mister Darling,” the Detective answered looking at the board and back at him “You were being tricked. So don’t worry you face the consequences for the mastermind”. He sat on the floor staring at an almost complete picture, something still just felt wrong.
“Is everything okay Detective?”
“Not fully Mister darling. Honestly I feel like I’ve been walking in circles, it’s the same answer the only different is the path I followed.”
“…ah. Okay…”
“This isn’t me discrediting you by the way, I have earned some good information and some answers. So thank you for your confession Mister Darling. Feel free to leave.”
Wally sighed getting up to leave, yet just before he did he looked back before the Detective asked something, “Any idea what this is?” He held up the tiny green slip, Wally simply shook his head even confused by what the Detective was showing him.“Thank you Wally, you’ve helped a lot” he thanked allowing an rather confused yet seemingly a bit more hopeful Wally to leave.
The Detective sighed knowing fully knowing very well what was gonna happen next.
Of course he’d have to talk to her, It was an inevitability. But how did see fall into this mess? It can’t be money she’s very successful so probably not, it’s definitely not familiar troubles, it might be something work related but non of those made to him but something still isn’t right.
why would see tie herself up in this?
Well unfortunately there was only one way for the Detective to find out.
Knock Knock…
She gently opened the door and then was greeted with an not so shocking surprise.
“…hello Miss Lavender”
“Good afternoon Detective… it’s my turn I assume?”
The Detective gently nodded his head before entering her room, the Detective sat down on her bed while see sat down amongst the items she was looking at prior. The two sat there once again in nostalgic bittersweet silence, “back in this scenario again Detective Starlet, I’m starting to feel like I’m living out my past.” She playful commented while the Detective stared back in an mixture of uncomfortable anger.
“Lavender tell me what your ties are to the Mastermind” the bluntly responded a slight sense in disappointment in his tone. Lavender sighed knowing there was no way to ease the tension before it could even words could leave their lips, she let out a sigh, then began to talk.
Lavender described She first met him in what looked like a celebratory gathering for a business of sorts, after that night she got more requests from that same company for her to turn up for the gathering at the request of the mastermind. Soon he had became one of most regular clients. The mastermind hired her on various occasions, turned up to anywhere she was advertised and even going as far to rent out various venues just for her to sing to him.
During one of these booking were was just the two of them them the Mastermind had gotten into an rather odd conversation about their upbringings with Lavender, even though she regretted adding onto the conversation the Mastermind brought up something interesting to her. He was chatting away before attempting to put his arm around her before lavender swatted his arm away off her. He gently laughed it off before he continued “well then Lav, I was gonna purpose an idea for you-“
“No.”
“Awe… why don’t ya believe me Lav?” The mastermind asked, in return she rolled her eyes and simply said “I don’t trust you,”. The mastermind placed his paw on his heart, “com on Lav, you can trust me. May I remind ya that I’m one of the biggest reasons your wallets always full, and you don’t even know what I’m offering ya,”
“If this goes in any direction or form of being a star or making it big, then I want non of it. I’ve already seen where that path leads-“
“But that’s what I’m talking about Lavender, what I’m offering is something more personal,” he interrupted waiting for her real awaiting for sudden interest and just like as intended, her interest was peaked “I believe you’d like to see the world burn, am I right?”
“… you’re not wrong,”
“Makes sense. The world has always been against us, like ya said you’ve almost framed and defamed as me, I was wrongly fired and backstabbed by someone who was supposed to be my friend. That fool!” He reasoned unintentionally yelling that last part. He took a deep regaining himself for a moment or 5 then turned to Lavender.
“What I’m offering you Miss Lavender is simple. I’m offering you, a chance of Revenge.”
“You’re lying!” The Detective interrupted.
“Lying? I’m not lying about that my starlet-“
“You are!” He cried in a strong disbelief “you don’t want to side with the mastermind and I know it well” he yanked out the slip showing it to her, lavender’s face scrunched in mild discomfort seeing the evidence traced back to its origin.
“It’s not just that, you swapped our rooms around so I can hear that conversation and the phone in there tapped too so you could hear on other calls. For someone who’s seemingly the “wanted this”, You very clearly don’t!” the Detective pointed out.
“I think you should go-“ Lavender tying to not to shove him out of the room. But the Detective didn’t allow that he whipped around grabbing ahold of her hands and begged “No lavender, you’re hiding something from me. Please tell what’s happening”
She sighed feeling a harsh sense of guilt over her she looked into the Detective eyes and simply replied “I’m performing a song for dinner, I want to know if you have any requests… anything you want”, he the Detective paused looking up in heartbroken disbelief before looking down at the floor between them and then answered back.
“I want you to make the right choice.”
He slipped his hands free from her grasp and left the room leaving her alone. She paused looking down at her hands slowly feeling the warm of the Detective’s hand fade away, but before she could even savour the feeling.
Duty quite literally called.

“This is Miss Lavender speaking, How may I help with you?”
“… Helloooo~ Miss Lavender, glad to finally get ahold you deary. How’s the business going on?”
“It’s fine. We’re having a bit of trouble of getting your delivery ready on the account of the Detective…”
“Such a shame… how about the mission, is it anywhere close to being completed?”
“Everyone’s still doing there parts, well… to the best of abilities. Due to that pesky Detective, he even go-”
“Good to hear that. Lavender could I be made aware of when I might get a delivery?”
“… I’ll try. I have to go I need to now, I have a number to rehearse for.”
“Awe shame, you better keep me updated.”
Click!
Lavender sighed in annoyance at the request placing her head in her hands. Ever since the moment she stepped foot on this very property, he would always begged her the same thing.
“Tell about when I should expect my delivery,”
“Will I get my delivery soon?”
“How long do I have to wait for my delivery?”
“Can you hurry up already? it shouldn’t be that to bring me my delivery!”
“Why are you taking so long?”
She groaned into her hands hearing the constant repetition, lavender laid back on her bed allowing herself a moment of silent anger before shifting her attention to more important matters. Next to her sat a collection of possible songs but along side them was the blue dress from the night before.
Lavender groaned as she judged the garment, there was nothing wrong with it from simple viewing yet she could see it’s faults.
To her this wasn’t a dress, it was a beautiful fraud with it’s high price yet heavily failed quality. She was told how the colour complemented her yet failed to realise that it was back handed, or the fact this was supposed to a dress yet it acted like a fabric cage that strangled her in all the wrong place.
This wasn’t a dress and it wasn’t a gift, it was an gorgeously digested hell.
She dropped the dress glaring at her personal hell. She looked around the clothes she brought, as she searched through out the dresses she then spotted something out of the corner of her eye.
She pulled out an hauntingly familiar red dress.
She sighed pressing fabric against her heart as it ached with the gentle reminder of memories.
The memories of a fear filled night believing she would lose it all until a Detective took her side lighting an ember of hope. The freedom she felt when the weight of dread was finally lifted off her heart and allowed an new feeling to slowly bud, how the days seemed more brighter and the stars shined brighter since the moment he stepped in her life.
Yet the more she remembered the sweetened past slowly an more somber scene started to play out in her mind.
An dark dime starry night, the warm light of a street light and an beautiful blooming relationship that was about to be uprooted.
“Did you really love me?” Echoed in her mind.
As she felt the past run through her mind the gentle rush of tears ran down her cheeks, lavender let out an heartbroken sigh and she hugged the dress grieving the past.
She looked from the dress to the phone as Detective words still echoing in her mind. Lavender searched the room finding a where she had hid the merits, then took a pen and paper proceeding to write up an heart filled storm. When completed lavender dialled up the mastermind as she began to doll herself up for tonight’s evening.
“I believe I can get you something. It’s not a lot I’ll admit it, but it’s the best thing I can do-… Now before you even starting whining I want you to know that the Detective is getting very very close to find you. So if you want some part of this mission go well, you will meet in the central garden, midnight… I’ll meet you there sharp.”
Lavender sighed wrapping up the merits in some paper, then proceeded hide the letter and merits inside her hat. While heading down the hallway to join dinner she paused at the bedroom door to the Detective. She gently twisted the knob checking if the door was unlocked, but of course it wasn’t she didn’t even know why she tired.
Soon lavender managed to sneak her way down to the kitchen hiding away until it was time. Perched up on the kitchen counter top eating away while watching the her accomplices rejoicing in the idea that soon they’d be free of the mastermind’s power, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of dread.
“Are you alright Miss Lavender? You seem a little disheartened,” Wally commented taking away lavender’s dishes. “… I’m just questioning something” she answered following him to the sink.
“What’s on going on mind then?” Julie piped up “do you wanna talk about it? Or if Don’t want to that’s okay too, you could ju- Huh?“ Julie paused feeling Frank tapping on her shoulder “let’s just give Miss Lavender an moment to gather her thoughts Julie,”Frank offered up then sharply followed by Julie apologising, allowing sometime for lavender to find her answer.
“I believe I’ve made a bad choice joining the heist. I feel I shouldn’t have taken the offer, I can feel the judgment of my moral compass weighing heavy and I can’t even blame my reasons for this either. It’s nothing compared what you all had”
“I know that feeling,” Poppy paused from plating up dinner to turn to lavender placing an wing on her shoulder “I believe we’ve all been in that exact spot,” Wally added. Everyone shared a moment of silent agreement, before Frank perked up with an answer “sometimes in moments we’re were most vulnerable we do things we shouldn’t. It’s out panic and even if you believe your reason is lesser then ours, it doesn’t change that you felt like it was the right choice.”.
Julie looked at Frank with an understanding smile before turning to Lavender and giving her a hug, Lavender sighed gently hugging her back before feeling Wally, Frank then lastly Poppy’s arms wrap around her.
Lavender thanked them before ushering them to the dinning hall feeling a spark of reassurance light up within her heart. She sighed taking out the letter and the merits giving them both a good look, “this is what must be done” she reminded herself.
Lavender took a deep breathe as she could hear the record beginning to play, she entered the dining hall and sprang into action. She began to weave an beautifully performance to the guests, making sure that she would be the highlight of their nights.
After she had sang out her heart to room the room bursted into praise. She stood there savouring every single kudo, especially certain member of her audience. The one she had detected this song to who was staring at her with star struck eyes.
“In honour to our dear Detective!” Lavender added “As an thank from all of us for the services you provided, thank so much my starlight”. The room sound turned giving well deserved praise to the Detective, allowing her to sneak away out of the kitchens and straight into the lounge.
Lavender looked around the room searching for an hidden door, the moment she found it she hopped into secret passageway and started to travel to her desired location. Through winding stairs and hallways she soon found herself at a crawl space, Feeling around the wall she felt the tiny dent she was told about about and slowly opened the door.
As lavender attempted to enter the room almost knocking over the hidden heirlooms, the pushed open the closet door seeing the Detective’s room. Lavender looked around taking in all the hard work that man had put himself through, he always had a sense determination when came to his job.
As lavender pulled out the letter she felt tears threatening to ruin her make up, she opened it again reading every last detail knowing what she was going to do might be able to be taken back. Accepting her fate lavender sealed her fate with a kiss on the letter, placing it down on the bedside along with a little something extra before runing back to the dining hall.
Sneaking back into the kitchen lavender paused taking a rummage of the place, collecting a drink, an empty dirty plate allowing her an excuse for her disappearance. She sat down about to ready herself for what was to come until hearing an familiar voice enter the room.
“Lavender,” the Detective greeted “I wanted to to say I enjoyed your performance, you really out did yourself.”
“Thank you detective, but I’m aware you’re not only here for an simple thanks.” lavender added staring at an detective who very clearly had been caught red handed. The Detective walked over to her pulling up a stool to sit next to her “that song you picked and the dress…”.
“Ring any bells detective?” She asked rhetorically seeing his slightly annoyed reaction. “lavender, please tell me it’s not real.” he pleaded “tell me you didn’t do this just for some petty revenge,”. Lavender was taken by surprise from the question, along with the genuine denial in his voice.
It made lavender’s heart break knowing all she could do was give him an guilty silence, She watched as his his denial turn to confused anger even though he was lost for words she could see it in his face. She saw his eyes blazing with betrayal and his face shifting back and forth between holding back vile words to wanting to beg for an sweet lie, the detective struggled but finally managed to get something out his throat.
“Why? Lavender? What do you even have to get revenge on? You already had the people who tried to ruin you behind bars, lavender why? Why did you have to be selfish?” He cried out causing tears form in his eyes.
Lavender looked in heartbroken horror seeing the sight unfolding in front of her. She tired to find anything to justify her actions but all she could find was just tears to match the Detective, “… I’ve gotten weak. Starlet” Lavender simply answered leaving the Detective alone in the kitchen as she made back to her room.
That night the pillows of the two of guests were filled to the brim with heartbroken tears. While the one of the heartbroken had managed to weeped himself to sleep the other’s guilt had kept her awake, the sense of her neglected moral compass weighing heavy on her heart.
Lavender glanced at the clock seeing how her meet up with the mastermind was near, she sighed wiping tears off her face as she started to get dressed. Lavender took a deep breathe in looking at the ball of paper along little something she and managed to compose herself.
It was time to correct herself choice.
The storm brought harsh rain and lightning allowing the garden to be temporary lit, stood underneath an wooden gazebo Lavender waiting for her moment to arrive. The shadows caged the women within a prison of the unknown, her heart and the rain beating in paranoid rhythm.
“Lovely weather isn’t it Lavy?” an voice called out from the darkness. Merging from the shadows like an monster from its hideout ready to claim another victim. There he stood with eyes that could stab through metal, claws perfect for the kill and all wrapped up in an fancy suit to disguise it all.
Mastermind finally showed himself.
“Good morning mastermind mind,”
“And an very good morning my dear lavender.”
He responded picking her hand up to kiss it only for it to be swiped away, the mastermind chuckled at the gesture “still playing hard to get I see”. Lavender just rolled her eyes before reaching into her hat “… well I’m not only thing that was,” she answered pulling out the wrapped up ball of paper.
The masterminds eyes gleamed with interest, she smiled tossing the ball over to mastermind watching him catch it. He chuckled before tuning apart in eagerness. “Finally Lavender! I’ve been waiting for your delivery to arrive and I’ll just say this. I really got to give cre-“ he paused looking at the insides of the ball.
There was nothing there.
Annoyance slowly started to seamer within him from the light prank. “… heh. very funny lavender. But I’m not in the mood for a jok-“ but as the mastermind turned around to face her, the lighting revealed the shine of an kitchen knife pointed directly at him.
“I’ve had enough of you. I’ve had enough of your whining, your threats and just everything about this heist. I’ve had enough.” She growled anger blazing within hers almost causing them to glow like hell fire.
“… Lavender… Lavender, Lavender… what do you think you’re doing?” The mastermind asked trying to hide that his patience was dissolving within boiling anger. “You know how I don’t have the time little jokes dear,” he said reaching out his paw.
“now how about you stop with your little tantrum and hand the real-“
SLICE!
The action was quick as a blink, almost like it didn’t happen. But the effect soon made itself visible as an piece of the sleeve cuff dropped onto the floor, The masterminds delayed gaze following the fabrics decent onto the cold ground.
before he could even realised what happened Lavender launched at him just barely starching the collar of his shirt if it wasn’t for the mastermind instincts, allowing him to dodge the weaponised women.
“What are you doing women?!”
“I’m doing what I should’ve done long ago, I know should have cut ties with you the moment you made me that offer, and now…” lavender paused readying herself for the hell that was to come, as turned back to her target yielding her knife.
“I’ll sever you out of my life permanently! LIKE PARASITE THAT YOU ARE!” She screamed charging at the mastermind. The beast panicked taking advantage of the darkness sinking back into his former hiding spot, allowing an temporary moment of freedom.
Lavender paused watching her surroundings awaiting the lighting to give away where the mastermind might be, but the weather had turned on her allowing the mastermind punching her in the face but not to injure her. But to confuse her allowing him to escape into garden, even the scenery was taking his side in this fight.
Lavender stepped with caution into the elaborately decorated battle ground, her eyes darting around due to the new found her head filled with a almost swaying pain that made it hard to focus, so she readied herself to strike at any given moment.
“A parasite? That’s what think of me?” The mastermind taunted allowing whispers the wind to spin it around her playing tricks on her ears.
“May I remind you how nobody wanted to hire a murderess?” The lighting sparked tricking her into showing the mastermind, She spun her head around believing she had seen him but only to be an statue.
“Or who always managed to booked and even was the one that recommended you that business dinner?”
She slashed at the shadows only to find a rose bush, He’s not there either.
“That’s right, it was me!” The mastermind cried out as an second sudden strike had hit lavender, just barely managing to hit her in the same spot as he did last time causing the pain to explode harsher, she let out a small shriek of pain before trying to pursuing him.
The pain was unbearable, the world feel like it was swaying like to ship upon the violent ocean. this was a battle of her against the world, an unfair battle but one she was willing to fight.
Lavender stood still trying to get a sense of the surroundings and also trying to gain her sense of balance, yet an idea came up in her mind noticing something. “I was the one who gave you grace,” His words echoed.
The more steadied herself she she realised how the voice wasn’t moving by an trick of her ears, It was physically moving around her.
He using the shadows as cover paired with the head injury to take her by surprise. Lavender sighed trying to figure out an way to outsmart him, she started to slash at shadows to make him believe he still held power baiting him to taunt her once more.
“I allowed a second chance!”. His voice was rippled akin to a droplet hitting water. But just like a ripple she could guess where he was, she slashed once more and just like before he taunted again.
“I gave you everything! My money, My heart and you still want more!”
He’s behind an statue of a butterfly playing the lute to her top right, seemingly going around in an circle. “This was never about me!” She taunted back trying to enrage him.
“You’re so stupidly entitled, you always think everything is about to you!”
“I could say the same thing to you.” He’s trying to get behind her.
“Oh rich coming from you, as if you didn’t come up with an entire heist because of an petty grudge.”
“… what do you call it?” He’s definitely behind her now.
“Petty, It’s just like you! An Spiteful, Narrow minded, unimportant, STUPD LITTLE THING!”
“SHUT UP!” He barked pouncing from the shadows seeing her back turned, but as he tired to make contact with her.
SLASH!
She had spun around in time managing to cut an large portion of the trim to his blazer. He hissed in surprise yet swiftly managed to punch her the gut as their position switched, with her sinking into the shadows and now him in the centre of attention.
“YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW THEY WRONGED ME!” He screamed out.
Lavender groaned sneaking further away to catch her breath from the sudden blow, trying to compose herself her own body turned against her.
As she tired to steady herself once more her body involuntarily let out an cough.
Her cold ran cold just as realised what happened. The mastermind bolted towards her, grabbed her by the neck and slammed her against the post of the gazebo.
He stared daggers into the heart of beaten and bruised women. The mastermind stared into lavender’s eyes seeing the fear and what he hoped was regret for her actions, his gaze softened at her still pining her to post he let out an sigh.
“Lavender, lavender…” he began as he used his free paw to stroke hair against her clear annoyance. with the women. “You really an wild card aren’t ya? But listen here, I’m willing to forget this little tantrum of yours… if you just say sorry. Nothing much I’m asking for and you wanna know why?”
He paused waiting for some sort of answer from her, she simply just blinked as an attempt of asking why.
“Because I love you… as I said before I’ve treated you well, giving you all I have. Despite you never returning an single bit of that love back.” He slightly lightening his grip of her, not even for her to escape but enough to so he wasn’t interfering her speech.
“All you have to is say sorry, don’t worry about the little marks I’m sure you can cover them up with something. But as I was saying all you need to is apologise, then everything can back to normal… what’d ya say?”
Lavender paused looking at him, the paw just barely around her neck, the knife and lastly then the discarded paper on the gazebo’s floor. She paused and thought hard, before turning to the mastermind making her choice.
She took a deep breath in looked up at him.
Then spat in his face.
The mastermind paused frozen with anger, his free paw touched the spit making sure it wasn’t the rain. Before he let out yell of rage as didn’t just punch out lavender’s lights so hard that she was now barely conscious, but had also he left an dent in the wooden post.
The mastermind chucked lavender over his shoulder, making sure the last thing she would see was his disappointed face. As the darkness started to take over her mind the mastermind smiled and said the last words she would hear.
“Don’t worry Miss Lavender, I’ve got an backup plan just for you…”
