While on the topic of the last time I’ve been to New Jersey, here’s more photos I took from that year that I‘d thought would be appropriate to show.
Anyone else remember when Barnacle Bills used to have this Spongebob arcade game where you put a quarter in and each colored bar will give you a different amount of tickets each time the quarter lands on them?
Arcade games were never the same now you have to use a card to play instead of quarters and that Spongebob game was replaced with one of those ticket crane games when mom and I visited the place last night.
Heading down to the beautiful Jersey shore this summer? Barnacle Bill's in Rumson has, hands down, the best burger around. 10oz. patties cooked to order (and right behind the bar so you can see them sizzle). american, cheddar, swiss or cheddar sauce. sauteed onions and mushrooms (hold the mushrooms on mine). chips and a pickle. pair with your favorite beer - Blue Moon (with two oranges) for me - and prepare for the ultimate burger and beer experience. Oh, and did I mention it overlooks the Navesink River?
