Inktober Day 5: Barnacle Goose. I watched a clip of a gosling jumping off a cliff like a kite. Its painful to watch. These geese nest on top of cliffs to avoid predators. However, the parents dont bring food to their young. This forces the goslings to take a leap off their nests to be on the feeding ground with their folks. Sadly, not all chicks will survive from the jump, so this shows how much courage these young geese have to make such life-threatening moves. I cried after watching the clip.
