"It's gonna be legen-wait for it-dary! Legendary!" Barney said after finishing a long speech about why we just absolutely have to go to Vegas with him.
"Barney, why can't we just hang out here. Vegas is so far away, and you know I hate packing" I said in a lazy voice, laying further down in the booth we all were sat in.
"Because we always hang out here we never do anything new and exciting!" He said like a little child whilst looking at his almost empty glass, that was probably previously filled with some kind of expensive scotch.
"Sorry, Barney, but Robin, (Y/N) and I have a mani/pedi appointment tomorrow morning, and after that we have a massage appointment. We can't go, sorry" Lily said while waving a gift card to the mani/pedi place in his face.
Robin and I nodded along to what Lily said, we’d been dying to get appointments at this place for ages, and finally they had time for us all, and we were not gonna give it up that easily.
"Well then, I'll just have to go to Vegas Han style-" We all looked at him, confused expressions on all our faces, not quite understanding what he meant.
"Solo. I'm so disappointed in you guys" He said as he walked out of the bar, taking his glass with him.
The guys all sighed at him and his behaviour, knowing full well that none of us had heard the end of this yet.
"That Barney, what are we gonna do with him?" Marshall questioned
"Honestly I don't know. How do you put up with him everyday?" Ted asked while looking at me inquisitively.
"I guess it's love, when you really, truly love someone you can overlook their flaws and I love Barney it's as simple as that" I said looking while at the door.
Everyone awed at my little speech, as if it was something not everyone was aware of.
"So when's the wedding?" Robin asked
We all laughed at her comment, none of us knowing Barney was planning on proposing to me that week.
