*** LONG POST OF GRATITUDE ALERT*** #MEETMEINTHEPRAYERROOM I've been trying to find the perfect words to describe my experience as #kittythompson in Donald Welch 's New Production of Meet Me In The Prayer Room!! It was a sold out show and people were turned away at the door!!! I had just flown back from a gig in ATL, and my nerves were on high alert....oh and I had 2 hrs sleep before my 6:20am flight which was 3:20 LA time... The audience responded and seemed to have picked THEIR favorite characters. At the end of the night I'm sure no one could forget the name Bobby Lyle. He sang the roof off of the place!!!! I continue to search for the right words and all I can 1come up with is GRATEFUL, and I believe it will suffice. Grateful for the opportunity, the work, my gifts, the cast, my job, my bosses, my friends, my family, my co-workers, the crew, Donald Welch and yeah I thank God. I'm still processing it all... THANK YOU all for every encouraging word. I've had to make some sacrifices and it may have taken a toll on some situations. IT'S ABOVE ME NOW 😇 To this amazing cast all I can say is you are all INCREDIBLE!!!! It has been an absolute HONOR to get to wet me feet in a pool with such ACCOMPLISHED Actors and Performers!!!!
