Not many games have gotten me to tear up when I've beaten them, but nearly 20 years later ever since I first and last played it, Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess is still one of those games. God damn, I'm glad I picked up streaming it, capturing all the highs, lows (mainly puzzles or bosses lol), and every single unfiltered thought I have on Midna as a character. Normally I don't get to express how I feel on a game while streaming, because mainly I am bad at expressing myself period. But through every flubbed word I make or lost thought, it was a genuine treat to revisit this game for me.

It's funny: I never really thought of Twilight Princess as one of my favorite games of all time. It's absolutely not forgettable, but I guess I could never properly digest it even back when I first beat it a year or so after release. Now? These streams helped remind me how much I do love it, and Midna too. Twilight Princess may have edged out a game in my personal Top 10 after this stream (an ever evolving list, to be fair). And honestly, after how SHIT yesterday's attempt to stream was, I needed this. I needed a good cry. I missed this game, truly. Fave Zelda game of mine, fsure. Midna best girl too

I really need to get better at calling out first time twitch chatters for humble bragging, I try to let it slide and assume it's just people excited to find a new player to the game being streamed but eh it ain't fucking worth hearing about how you could play this on NG+ European Extreme Turbo Dante Must Die Ace of Aces mode LITERALLY WHO THE FUCK ASKED

Apropos of nothing, it occurred to me that I don't see a whole lot of centaur vtubers on Twitch, even though monster- and animal-inspired designs are a dime a dozen for vtubers (I mean shit look at me a skeleton)

But I did find one recently and they look cool! There should be more centaur vtubers. It's funny how there's plenty of horse themed vtubers, and taur furries are common too, but just straight up centaur? Hell search for them and you'll pretty much find the one I'm talking about instantly

Also there should be more skeleton vtubers too

Holy fuck I love this game. Armored Core VI ain't perfect but boy is it damn close. I got some thoughts I wanna articulate at some point but for now, three playthroughs well worth it. Now if you will excuse me I must look acquiring body pillows of Rusty and Ayre because I love them.

Nearly had to swap my comfy hot shower into a cold sobering one, started thinking about the Fires of Raven ending I got in Armored Core VI again and man...

spoilers below

letting down Ayre, wife in my head who calls me a good pilot...

ALL of that Coral, just like Ayre, gone, never mind any regular people also wiped out completely

and Raven just gets to fly off

God damn is it a good bad ending because I sure as fuck felt bad, something not too many video games can accomplish. Closest being Spec Ops: The Line although that was the entire point of that game (and a bit too hamfisted about trying to make the player feel bad), whereas in Armored Core VI, it expected nothing out of the player reaction wise, it was completely natural.

Can't wait to get this third ending. Fuck. Love this game.

For some reason the tumblr algorithm started suggesting a bunch of Star Wars The Bad Batch posts to me and like YEAH I DO LIKE THE BAD BATCH but its so random I haven't liked or reblogged anything related to it up until it just started randomly showing up on my feed here, I don't even follow any Star Wars tags lol

Not complaining! Happy to see fanart and stuff related to it, but just funny how it worked out I guess as its not even Star Wars but specifically Bad Batch related

So far every Steam sale I set a budget for myself so I don't end up either getting too many expensive games or too many games I simply won't have time to play, and I'd say it's been working pretty fine for me. Got Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart which I will eventually stream because love me some R&C, Project Zomboid to play with Nekri, Project Snowblind for nostalgia [no relation they just happened to have similar names lmao], Sky Rogue which I technically have on something else but this makes modding easier plus achievements, and gifted Nekri the game Carrion which I know he will eat up pun intended (plus family share so I get to play it again too lol)

And I'm still a little under budget too but overall it works pretty well for me. My backlog is big enough as is but at least this way I can pretend I'm being a smart consumer while I waste money lol
