Speaking of Barrett, he’s a year and a half now. He walks (still stumbles a little), can talk in mostly-full sentences, his favorite food is French Toast and his favorite color is yellow.

From 1st child to 2nd, it’s been a journey. Pipes says she feels the same way she did when she was pregnant with Barrett, and I feel the same too. It’s the coolest thing seeing Barrett adjust though. He’ll wake up on the mornings he shares the bed with us, rub his little eyes, yawn, look over at Piper’s belly with wide eyes and give his baby sister a kiss. I knew he was a smart kid but he grasped onto the concept of there being a baby in mommy’s belly pretty quickly; not bragging or anything... What more can I say? She looks absolutely amazing. So beautiful, radiant... I have a feeling that Way is gonna be a daddy’s girl.
