hi hi hi i just started supporting barca and what's the story behind them standing during kick off?

Helloooo welcome to the barca fam! It's in relation to this statement they released yesterday, and the chaos they've been forced to endure since the start of this season. So many games have had to be cancelled, the covid testing system keeps changing and is not efficient enough, they don't know whether the federation will end the league after 51% of matches have been played etc etc.

Basically, they've been fucked over by a federation that doesn't seem to care unless huge financial benefits are involved, and the players have got together to protest this - first in the statement and now by not playing the first seconds of matches this weekend.
