The first annual The Impossible Man Summer Vacation Spectacular, pull date August 1990, was published. The anthology like comic introduced Impia the Impossible Girl (created by Mark Gruenwald, Howard Mackie, and Rurik Tyler) Ralph the Impossible Dog (Roy Thomas, Dann Thomas, and Greg Capullo), and General Zkrodd (Michael Gallagher and Tom Morgan). The issue had 11 stories (one of which was made up of pin-ups). Besides Impossible Man, Impossible Woman, and Impossible Kids, the special featured Spider-Man, Mr Fantastic, Venom, Quasar, Madcap, Doctor Strange, Rintrah, She-Hulk, Invisible Woman, Wasp, Punisher, Dr Doom, Iron Man, and S'byll.
