Shazam heaved a sigh, his shoulders hunched up as he pulled his black hood further down to shield his face. It wasn't the first time Earth's Mightiest Mortal was questioning the Regime's motives and actions, and it definitely wasn't the first time he'd kept it bottled up. What Superman was doing was obviously wrong. Shazam's former hero was twisting into something that the Man of Steel was always advocating against.
They were oppressing the people. They were keeping people in fear, stopping them from doing what they wanted because they were afraid that Superman himself would be there to crush their skulls or hurtle them to the core of the Earth.
It was something unbearable to Shazam, who still, deep in his heart, was only a sixteen year old boy. People that age couldn't handle the responsibility of dictating millions of people, and it hurt even worse that he could voice his concerns aloud to anyone.
Really, the only person he could speak freely to was the Flash, his partner, and even then, he had to be selective with his words. Though the said Leaguer's loyalties were doubtful at best, controlled with fear as with the people, Billy doubted that Barry would hesitate to tell Superman of any hint of uprising within the Regime's ranks.
Speak of the devil. Shazam heard Barry before he saw him, recognizing the zoom and pattering of feet instantly. With his second closest friend, behind Freddy, of course, in his presence, the magical hero had to at least attempt positivity lest he get questioned by an overzealous speedster.
Looking upward, Shazam cast a smile at Barry, hand jerking to the right in a slight wave. If there was anyone who could actively cheer him up, it would be the crimson clad man in front of him.
"Hey, man," he said, trying to keep the melancholy out of his voice, his smile remaining. He relaxed in posture in an attempt to look more open and happy. "What's up?"

Harley Quinn looked down in her hand. She could have swore a second ago she had her favorite pop gun in her hand and now it had disappeared. "Heyyy, what's goin' on here?" She called out in the shadows, frowning deeply. "The only funny business I like is with mistah j."
