Scrungy ripper for @barsom-fearce
As different as the lego ninjago movie was to the series, I say its good in its own right, its just a big shift of vibes going from one to the other.
I've been really curious about it ever since I heard it was a different continuity from a friend who kinda vaguely knew the series
(It was also through him that I learned that Nya was, in fact, prounouced "nee-ah" and not "nyah")
@barsom-fearce ‘s Icanruins and @deadbleat ‘s Quintet
an assortment of quick and messy sketches of @barsom-fearce‘s Ripper as I figure out her design proper
VERY fun idea, but as it happens I actually have plans for Grillmaster Tahu
Mine is actually a transformers oc, he's a twin and is a super genius but him and his brother didn't want their (sometimes universe breaking) inventions going into the wrong hands an be used for harm so they became medics.
awh, cool! That’s a very interesting concept ^^
I love how you draw humans, also Same hat! We both have a character named Polaris!
Thank you! and that’s really cool!
I don’t talk about my older ocs a ton, but Polaris was always one I thought was cute ^^ She’s... to put it in simplest terms, a magnetic magical girl? I had trouble designing her staff, but it’s essentially got a N/S pole on either end, giving her some measure of control over ferromagnetic materials.
What’s your Polaris like?
Do you have any villain ocs?
I don’t post about them a ton, but yea!
Note: a lot of these are very old and I haven't focused on them in a long time, so you'll be lucky to find art of them on here. Their story is long overdue for a total overhaul, so this may not remain entirely accurate. Also unless it's specified, assume, like, all of these are robots
Acer: A former friend of Ventus and her fellow trainee under Archaeus Max, Acer grew overwhelmed with jealousy after Max chose Ventus to succeed him. Soon after Archaeus’s unfortunate passing, he vanished. Ventus always wondered where her friend went to, but soon after, her other responsibilities became too much, and she was forced to assume he was gone for good. However, rumor has it he’s still out there somewhere.
Elko: Another of Ventus's friends, Elko was captured and turned into something barely more than a drone by Acer as a way to strike at Ventus from the inside.
Onyx: a robot created by Acer by combining programming from both himself and Ventus, Onyx serves as something of a "dark reflection" of her. She's initially very simple-minded and only focused on fighting, but grows in complexity as she experiences more and more.
Icestorm's gang: a group of powerful robots once intended to protect Viarane city, who eventually turned on it when they saw how poorly their kind were treated by humans. They were initially defeated through the sacrifice of Ito- the first successful robot with humanlike AI, but soon came back to terrorize the city once more. A few members of Icestorm's crew were responsible for Archaeus Max's death.
Sharpe: Not a villain forever- but originally, Sharpe was created by the Lylat Corporation to capture and/or destroy Icarus, as she was technically stolen property. However, following Sharpe's own capture, he slowly became less and less hostile as it became evident that Lylat didn't view him as anything more than a tool. Eventually, he became something of a sibling to Icarus, though his no-nonsense attitude remained.
Spirit: not so much a villain on a world-ending scale, but certainly not a good person. He's a pit battler in the robot fighting tournaments of Krando city, and was eventually killed by Kree when he attempted to substitute a young girl in his place.
Kree: again, she's more of an anti-hero than a villain, but I like her a lot ^^" she's the reigning champion of the Krando city robot fighting tournament, and takes no issue with executing opponents. She only gets away with it because tournament officials are afraid she'll turn on them next. After all, it's rumored that she's the one behind her prior handler's disappearance. However, she *does* have a moral compass- she refuses to harm those who are genuinely innocent, such as the girl Spirit attempted to use. She's Quetzel's, a former pit battler who later reformed, ex-girlfriend.
Zeriis: Luca's rival. Tbh I don't remember a ton about her, I think she was more of a design than a character.
LINE: An alternate universe version of SKAN who plans to suck her into LINE's own universe and trap her there in order to wreak havoc in SKAN's place.
And more that I can't talk about because of spoilers ;)
Fandom stuff:
Kepri: Ginseng's main rival and Hoshiro Nokiro's medabot, Kepri's medal was experimented on to increase its power output. He's incredibly grim and serious, but only serves Hoshiro because he hold's Kepri's close friendship with his daughter, Nane, over him. Kepri doesn't seem to like anyone but Nane, because as much as he dislikes Hoshiro, he can't stand Ginseng's snarky attitude. He's the "sibling" of both Kittsu and BlackJackal.
BlackJackal: Hoshiro's other medabot and another experimented-on medal, BlackJackal wound up nigh emotionless as a side effect and approaches fighting with an aloof and detached yet cold attitude. Despite her emotionless state, she serves as somewhat of a rival to Pepper.
Angel: an alien with hostile intentions who crash-landed on earth and took on a robotic disguise to dissolve suspicion cast on her. I'm somewhat embarrassed to mention that she's a Robotboy oc.
All things considered, I don’t have too terribly many? I know I’m missing a few, but this covers the more notable ones
