iirc one of the DLCs for infinite reveals that daisy fitzroy didn't actually want to kill the boy or do all the other extreme shit, but she was forced to make herself a target for elizabeth to kill, turning her from a 'girl' to a 'woman' at the order of the twins. so she's STILL violently murdered for a white person's progression, but we get the bonus of her being sacrificed by other white people against her will! this is somehow supposed to be less racist apparently.
Hi Anon! Its okay, even though these were spoilers, one needs to play the game to really understand.<>This makes it even more racist. a Black woman, a well established, black leader of the people, is killed for teh sake of a white girl’s growth, reiterating the white girl’s weakness and delicacy while simulataneously painting Daisy as a monster for wanting the best for her people. This could have been written a LOT better: for example, by not killing the black person for the sake of a) story progressionb) re-affirming Elizabeth's white delicatenessc) justifying violence against the VoxI am especially against this that ah, they could have joined hands and gone against Comstock HQ together! Booker could have talked Daisy down- or Daisy could have been knocked out by Elizabeth. Book and Liz are more than capable of both. The fault also lies with the fact that the writers thought that the Luteces commanding Daisy to do it was kind of... not racist? In fact, while I am not black, I can see this is very clearly hailing from colonial era Master and servile attitudes of those under the Master. its just... wrong and reeks of racist stereotypes and mindsets. AND lets get into the fact that the writers end up making the false Dichotomy of "Vox Populi is violent so its JUST AS BAD AS THE BRUTAL DICTATORSHIP OF COMSTOCK"
Fighting back for your freedom from servitude, slavery (the black people you find in Bioshock are pretty much slaves, basically), and industrial age exploitation (Fink's workers) and a host of other cruel things in Columbia does not equal the brutal, long and cruel suppression done by the city state of Comstock and the Founders. And yet the writing does that, because of the need for violence for progress (you literally have to fight your way to Comstock and afterwards too) making it look like "Order would have been better".
Daisy and the Vox Populi deserved better- MUCH BETTER. The downtrodden of Columbia deserved better.
Just my two cents

Many thanks to our amazing guide, Dr. Hans Roth [Le Corbusierhaus, Flatowallee 16, 14055 Berlin, Germany].
“Nourishment Pavilion”, Regent’s Park, London, UK _ Student: Nuralein Ali / BA3 _ 31.05.2022
The students were asked to design a “Nourishment Pavilion”, which should include a basic food preparation and serving area, a café and an art space. You need to critically re-interpret the idea and significance of “mind & body” nourishment, as well as address the issue of autonomous architecture and propose a variety of spatial solutions that could benefit and enhance the functions and atmospheres of the adjacent urban fabric of Regent’s Park and its environs, i.e. the areas around London Zoo, Regent’s University, the Open Air Theatre, the Outer Circle, etc.). The pavilion should include a basic food preparation and serving area, a café and an art space.
Each student defined his/her main theme: this was inspired from a variety of sources, e.g. site & context related, and was linked to the site and precedent analysis phase, Landscape Formation One [LF1], by Zaha Hadid.
The disassembling and reassembling operations can be both physical and conceptual. The precedent is analysed thoroughly. The operations and results are geared to help the students develop a basic working method around the ideas of transformation, transposition and displacement of specific elements or/and methodologies into new contexts, providing novel meanings and solutions to London’s dense city fabric.
