@king-in-yellow indulging my Basch/Balthier needs. I have been writing them a lot I love them, though the archaic English is driving my bonkers trying to wrap my head around writing. But it’s okay, they’re worth it.

CONCEPT: Balthier with bruises and Basch spreading him out naked on a lush Bhujerban hotel room bed and tenderly kissing each and every one of them. Y/y?

My Basch/Balthier fic has finally made it to the good stuff but it's turned out so much more romantic and sappy than planned, banging but all intimate and feelingsy banging. Unplanned but I think it suits them pretty well, or at least the tone of the rest of the fic.

I'm really enjoying your FFXII live blogging! It's my favorite Final Fantasy. I saw you mentioned that you might be writing fic and just wanted to send some gentle encouragement your way since I'm a big fan of your writing (and not to mention starved for FFXII content since the fandom is pretty much dead). I would love to read FFXII fic from you! Do you have a favorite ship? I'm a huge Balthier/Vaan stan, but I like Balthier with just about anyone, tbh.

Aw, thank you anon! I’m having a ton of fun with it. And yes, I am writing fic, and you’re so sweet, this made my day! I do have a favorite ship. While I can totally see the draw of Balthier/Vaan, my heart belongs absolutely to Basch/Balthier. They just drew me in immediately, I adore them. I will definitely be posting FFXII content (though I’m sorry it won’t be for your otp!). I know the fandom is mostly dead, which is heartbreaking as I’ve already devoured every fic on AO3, but I’m having fun writing for it even if it won’t have much of an audience. :)
