PLANTAR WART UPDATE: My foot felt well enough that when I took Magnus to baseball practice, I ran laps around the field. Ended up going 2.24 miles. I'm thrilled about being able to move again.
Magnus has a hard time focusing on the sport at hand -- be it soccer, baseball, etc. At tonight's practice, he and Eli ended up mostly hugging.

What if Reborn called Yamamoto a natural-born hitman not because of his skill and focus, but because he knew that he’d been trained by his father. What if Yamamoto was actually the member of a rival family, that Reborn was hoping to collect into the Vongola?
What if Yamamoto used his skills at deception (smiling, laughing, protecting the inner circle, etc) just to get close to them?
What if it was the Vongola that killed Yamamoto’s mother, and Yamamoto trained his whole life to take revenge?

Gus had baseball practice this afternoon, but Magnus also got some reps in with Mom at home on this perfect fall morning.
After helping put you two to bed, I left for the Arkansas Real Estate Commission's Educators' Retreat at Lake DeGray State Park. It's weird to "take a work trip" that's only 90 minutes from home instead of DFW or KC or one of the other Garver cities I frequented over the last 12 years, but I like it. Now I just need to figure out what the hell I'm doing when I get there.

Baseball practice with Mags. The only photo I took today was this one I took after running two miles around the inside of the field. Someone asked me if I was training for something (because I was dedicated enough to run in front of all the other parents), but I said, "No, I'm just happy that my wart is healed enough to allow me to run. I'm one of those cows in the videos where they get rescued from a factory farm and see a pasture for the first time."

Magnus had baseball practice tonight. The North Little Rock High School baseball team worked with them. Mom and Gus stayed home to work on Gus's "Cereal Box" project.
