Summary: The reader owns a bakery and hates baseball, but what happens when her town's bigshot MLB player walks into her bakery and she finds herself catching feelings unaware of his occupation.
You always hated baseball. Well actually not always, but from a very young age for a valid reason. Your older brother Evan started the sport when he was four with tee-ball when you were two and your sister Aurora was a baby. From the moment Evan started your father became engrossed in the sport and suddenly your household lived and breathed baseball meaning it’s all that was talked about. You were dragged to every game, every tournament, missing countless birthday parties and playdates. As you got older you were used to shag balls in the backyard as training for your brother. God you couldn’t even have a meal without baseball being mentioned, but when you decided to hate the sport was your senior year of high school. It was your last year of dance, last recital and all, but unfortunately, Evans college's baseball game was more important leaving your sixteen-year-old sister the only member in the audience. The thing that infuriated you the most was the fact that the game wasn’t even special. It was just a normal game, it wasn’t a tournament, it wasn’t a championship it was just your average college baseball game which apparently was more important than your last dance recital that happened one day of the year.
Your mother avoided the house because of the baseball obsession working countless hours at the bakery your mother's side of the family-owned which was where you worked now getting ready to take over the business that's been passed down from generation to generation since your grandmother. it was a great deal as you didn’t need to go to college and you and your sister would be co-owning a business which left you living more than comfortable at twenty-two. Rory’s bakery in Coronado, California a small island next to San Diego.
You owned a studio apartment in the City of San Diego which was unfortunately close to the San Diego Padres stadium, but you ignored it. You knew just about nothing about the MBL, and you didn’t care. Your friends loved the sport constantly trying to get you to attend games, but it was always a no from you as you had seen enough baseball for a lifetime and had no desire to step foot anywhere near a baseball field ever again. When you were twenty your mother left your father who was still obsessed with your brother who had actually made it to the major league playing for the Mets. Sometimes you felt bad for not supporting him or ever watching him play, but then again Evan never cared for anything you did, so why would you care?
The ring of the bell made you jump your eyes darting up to look at the customer who had just walked in unfortunately ten minutes before closing making you internally groan, but that stopped the second you saw the customer's face. He was tall, his skin-tanned arms littered with tattoos. His brown hair with messy curls fell atop his forehead. You shook your head scolding yourself in your head telling yourself to stop checking out the handsome stranger. He walked up to the register looking at the menu above you with a puzzled look before is emerald eyes fell to you.
“Hi, what can get for you” you smiled.
“Honestly I was just craving something sweet and my friend mentioned this place was good so I thought I’d stop in, what's your best,” he asked leaning up against the counter. Your eyes widened slightly as you heard his voice his accent thick and very British, and very attractive.
“Well how about you let me know what you like, and I’ll match you will the perfect goodie, and I can guarantee there is enough sugar in most of these items to satisfy your craving”
“I’m definitely a big strawberry guy” he smiled his dimples making your heart melt. Honestly, this man was so fine you were struggling to breathe as you felt the air around you getting hot.
“I’ve got the perfect thing for you” you quipped to the back to make him a fresh one since they were all gone by now. You grabbed an undecorated pink strawberry cupcake. You were about to add the icing when you heard his deep voice.
“Would you be able to add like extra frosting”
“Of course how extra we talking,” you asked.
“How about I just tell you when to stop”
“Alright,” You said as you started to ice the cupcake slowly waiting for him to tell you to stop. The icing got a bit high and you looked at him funny and he chuckled.
“Honestly I like my frosting more than the cupcake so go ham” he laughed. You started icing it again with a giggle and he finally told you to stop. You then strode to the fridge grabbing a fresh strawberry sticking it on top of the icing. You put it in your store's lavender box bringing it up to the counter.
“Well, this is the strawberry extreme cupcake so I hope you like strawberries as much as you claim” you joked and the smile he sent you almost sent you to your knees.
“Trust me I’m a die-hard strawberry lad, do you mind if I try it here,” he asked digging into his wallet for his credit card.
“Sure as long as you don’t mind if I start cleaning up” you answered as he handed you his credit card your breath catching in your throat as you noticed the rings on his fingers making him hotter than he was before.
“That's no problem, love” he responded and you could have passed out on the spot. “I’m Harry by the way” he smiled holding out his hand to yours.
“Y/n” you blushed to put your small hand in his shaking it lightly before pulling away from your hand on fire. Harry took his box taking a seat at one of the tables. He opened the purple box unraveling the cupcake taking a small lick of the frosting.
“Jesus Y/n this frosting is to die for” he mumbled before taking a full bite of the cupcake practically moaning at the taste.
“It's my grandma's recipe, she’s literally a baking genius I swear” you laughed as he chowed down the cupcake.
“Oh I will so be coming back for this next week after work, so this will not be the last time you see me” he laughed standing up from his spot as you mopped the floors. You internally cheered as you wanted to see him again just to gawk and hear his thick accent.
“I’ll be here” you replied giving him a warm smile.
“I’ll see you around Love,” he said before exiting the shop, and it became a weekly thing. Every Wednesday night he would show up right before closing you make him a cupcake, he would eat it and leave, but as weeks went by his stays began to get longer, and your conversations got deeper, and after two months the two of you had become quite good friends to the point that you looked forward to Wednesdays nights. You had also developed a well slight crush on him, because not only was he incredibly attractive he was sweet, and funny too, but something you found strange was he never disclosed what he actually did for a living which had you thinking he was a spy or something, but that was far from the truth.
Harry was a major league player for the padres, and not only was he a baseball player he was a star one. He was fresh out of college becoming an MVP after his first year and he became the poster boy of baseball putting him on the cover of magazines, and he had massed a following of 10 million on Instagram, and truthfully he was used to most people knowing who he was but he was pretty sure you had no clue and hews convinced that either you lived under a rock or that you paid no attention to sports, but that thought was turned around when he asked you about the sport curious to if you actually did know who he was only for your response to be that you hated baseball explaining in short detail the reasoning which was valid, but it also terrified harry since he had formed feeling for you and it sounded like you downright hated a major part of his life and you didn’t even know. The crazy part was Harry actually knew her brother and paired with him on the occasion.
Harry was nervous to tell her what his occupation was so he lied, but he knew eventually she would find out as there was no way to hide it forever since well it was everywhere.
“Wanna go for a walk, the boardwalk is quite lovely at night and the beach walk is so close,” Harry asked casually as he stuffed the remains of his cupcake in his mouth. Harry hadn’t seen her the previous week since he had a series in colorado telling Y/n it was a business trip which wasn’t a complete lie, but he still felt horrible about it.
“Uh, sure once I finish closing up shop we can” you hollered from the backroom your body currently shaking with excitement. You finished your last duties taking off your apron. You were currently wearing leggings an oversized t-shirt since it wasn’t too warm yet as it was only the middle of April. You took a deep breath before gathering your things walking out to see a smile on Harry's face.
“I’m all ready” you smiled and Harry opened the door letting you exit first. Once the door shut you quickly locked it before harry lead the way walking towards the beach. The air was perfect with a small chilled ocean breeze the air smelling of salt as you walked down the street gazing at the lights admiring the Del Cornado hotel which looked like a castle. You had always wanted to stay there as it was five-star and gorgeous as it was along the ocean, but you were too cheap to drop the overnight fee as you technically lived 20 minutes from it.
“You know the sand on this beach has gold flakes in it” you piped from beside him and he looked at you confused for a moment.
“What”
“The bougie hotel put gold flakes all in the sand to make it more five stars I guess, it's super cool I’m assuming you’ve never gone to the Coronado beach before” you laughed and he nodded.
“Do go to the beach often?” he asked.
“All the time, I love the ocean, I have ever since I was a little girl, I swear I could spend all day just jumping over the waves” you bubbled making Harry's heart skip a beat as you talked with such excitement and light in your eyes. “You visit the beach”
“When I can, my friends and I love to surf” he answered he body leaning close to yours his fingertips brushing against yours ever so often.
“I suck at surfing, I swear I almost drown every time I try” you giggled slightly tripping over a crack making your cheeks light up with embarrassment.
“Well maybe I’ll have to give you some lessons” he smiled.
“Oh god if you see how uncoordinated I am I’ll actually be embarrassed for the rest of my life” you replied as you approached the beach the sounds of the waves crashing hitting your ears, the lights of the hotel lighting the pathway. “We can walk in the sand if you want and put our feet in the water” you mentioned looking down at your feet.
“Sounds good to me” he nodded and the two of you removed your shoes. “We can leave our shoes here and walk back for them so we don’t have to carry them”
“And if someone steals them” you quipped and he rolled his eyes.
“We are on a five-star hotel's property, I know the beach part may be public but I think our shoes will be just fine” he laughed putting his feet into the sand this time grabbing your hand to lead you to the beach making your body stipend for a moment. You stepped into the soft sand your feet sinking down with every step until you reached the shoreline. You felt a shiver run up your spine as the icy water came up to your ankle from a particularly larger wave making you jump into Harry slightly.
“S’bit cold isn’t” he chuckled as the two of you walked along the shoreline the waves wetting the bottoms of your leggings, but you couldn’t find yourself to care one bit as Harry led you his hand in yours. “How come I never see your sister, I thought you both owned the shop,” Harry asked.
“She doesn’t work on Wednesdays, so then I don’t have to work Thursdays” you smiled kicked the water as the two of you found yourself a bit further into the water walking in ankle-high.
“I see” he nodded before releasing your hand bending down and splashing water on you causing a squeal to come from your mouth.
“Hey” you squeaked bending down using both your hands to splash him before running from the shoreline so he couldn’t get you wet, but instead, he caught up to you grabbing your waist and dragging you back towards the water as you laughed trying to squirm from his arms. “Harry it’s cold” you cried, before giving a particular crash that sent you both down to the ground into the water soaking your body.
“Were proper soaked now aren’t we” he laughed and you splashed him again trying to keep a straight face, but failing as the two of you fell into hysterics. You were sure your, mascara was running and your hair had to look insane but you couldn’t find it in you to care. You would have thought you would be shivering in the water but you found yourself feeling on fire as Harrys hands were on your waist and you had practically fallen onto his lap.
“We should probably head back now since you decided we should go for a swim in clothing,” you said sarcastically before standing up holding out both your hands to help him up. His white shirt became a bit see-through revealing his toned tattooed chest and you nearly choked at the site. His hair was wet and messy and the look of him alone had heat swelling your body. You removed your soaked sweatshirt since you were wearing a sports bra under it and Harry felt his breath catch in his throat at the site of your breasts, but he shook his head shooting those thoughts away because you were hot he wouldn’t deny that, but he didn’t just want your body and he needed you to know that.
This time you grabbed his hand walking back towards the bench you had left your shoes on the sand sticking to your feet a feeling you hated, but again with Harry in your arms, you couldn’t find yourself caring about anything.
-
“You took a walk with him on the beach” Aurora squealed.
“Nothing happened we just held hands, he didn’t kiss me or anything” you insisted.
“I’m gonna come in on Wednesday next week just so I can get a look at this guy since, you only told me his name” she stated and you rolled your eyes.
“Look we are just friends and I don’t even have his number so how would I have a picture” you rolled your eyes getting up from your couch.
“Why don’t you just find him on Instagram or something” she groaned.
“Because I don’t even know his last name it never came up, he just comes in every Wednesday and hangs with me until I leave, he's just a friend Rory and he is so out of my league, like when I say this man is beyond attractive I mean it,” you said putting your hands through your hair as you walked to the kitchen for a glass of water.
“From what you told me he obviously likes you, but I won’t argue with you, because soon I’ll be saying I told you so” she laughed. “Also sorry to change the subject but Evan wants us to come to one of his games they are playing the Padres Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday next week for a series, and neither of us have watched him play in well, years”
“Oh hell no I am not going to a baseball game” you shot back.
“Trust me I would rather dig my grave than go see a baseball game, but he sounded so sad and Mom is going as well, and they have those roasted sugar nuts that absolutely slap and alcohol, just one game and we're done, plus there is a super hot guy on the padres with a nice ass that I’ll just focus on the whole time” your sister laughed and you sighed.
“Alright fine, but only one”
You felt bad for not supporting your brother's career, it wasn’t his fault how intense your father had gotten about the sport, but baseball was just something that brought forth a lot of negative emotion for both you and your sister. You knew you could manage one game as long as you weren’t sober so you put on your big girl boots and agreed.
“Perfect because I wasn’t going if you refused” she laughed and you smiled shaking your head.
“I guess I have a reason to finally wear the jersey he got me” you joked.
“No, because same” your sister burst out laughing.
-
The two of you had one of your employees close up shop on Tuesday so you could get ready for the game. You wore a pair of mom jeans, and a white fitted cropped tank top and used your brother's jersey as a cardigan.
“I feel like we are going to get hate-crimed for wearing the other team's gear” Your sister laughed as the two of you walked towards the stadium tickets in hand. Your mother was already seated the two of you arriving a bit late because of the bakery. Evan had got you front row seats right by the dugout so he could talk to his family during his breaks. The game had started about 10 minutes prior to your arrival so the line to get in was non-existent. You were both scanned in as you both headed towards your seat following the sighs. There were people walking in front of you you sporting a jersey with “STYLES” on the back. The more you looked around the more you realized how many people were sporting this “styles” jersey.
“Why is literally everyone wearing a jersey for this Styles guy,” you asked curiously.
“Jesus Y/n I know you don’t like baseball but do you live under a rock” your sister laughed.
“Hey listen I avoid everything baseball like the plague I literally could not name a single baseball player except for our brother okay” you sighed.
“He's the sexy player I was talking about, I don’t watch baseball ever either, but Harry Styles is like the poster boy of sports, and since I like every sport but baseball I’ve heard of him, and then I looked him up cause he's fine as hell, and super fucking good, like scary good for only being twenty-four” she explained and you nodded. Once you arrived at your section, you told your sister to sit down while you got the drinks since she was only twenty. You walked to the stand ordering two beers before walking to meet your sister at the bottom of the stadium walking down an excessive amount of stairs you were not looking forward to climbing later.
“What did I miss” you sat down handing your sister her beer.
“Well, the Padres are about to bat, cause the Mets got three outs, Evan didn’t even get to bat” your sister replied taking a sip of her drink.
“I’m the two of you decided to come I know it's not your scene,” your mother said to the two girls softly.
“Of course mom, I know we aren’t exactly baseball fans, but we should support Evan every once in a while” you smiled before turning your head to the field.
The first three batters hit singles making the bases loaded when you looked over to the dugout of the padres as they sent out their next batter.
“Up next to bat is Harry Styles” the announcer's voice boomed among the space as a video of his best hit began to play on the jumbotron. You were curious to see what your sister was talking about when she gawked about his appearance, but when they finally showed his face you were sure you might pass out.
On the screen was Harry Styles cheering, which was normal, but what had your jaw on the floor was the fact that Harry Styles was the Harry who comes into your bakery every Wednesday night. You were frozen in your seat your jaw on the floor as you attempted to process what you were seeing, your brain firing thoughts faster than your could handle. You tore your face from the screen to lay your eyes upon Harry who was walking to the plate, and just as you thought it was the boy from the bakery. You then looked down at your beer thinking maybe you were just drunk, but no you hadn’t even drunk half of it yet. Harry brushed his fingers through his hair before waving at the audience hyping them up the crowd went insane.
“See isn’t he so fucking hot” your sister whispered, but you just sat there in shock, speechless as he took his stance on home plate. The pitcher wound up before throwing the ball fast almost hitting harry being labeled as a ball. The second ball came in being a strike. When the third ball came harry swung hard sending the ball deep into left field. He began running the bases before stopping at the third base which is directly where your seats were, you watched him slide in barely making it, dirt flying through the air in a cloud of dust.
When the air finally cleared and Harry stood up with a confident smile he looked towards the screaming crowd before his eyes landed on yours his face dropping in shock at the sight of you at a baseball game. At first, he was angry thinking you were playing him acting as if you didn’t know who he was but then he looked at your outfit seeing you sporting a Mets jersey that he assumed would have your brothers name on the back, and it made sense why you had been there so close to his opposing team's dugout. He stared at you for a moment before hearing his teammate be announced to the plate prying his eyes from you trying to pull you from his mind as he wondered how the hell he would explain this.
“Dude did he just stare at you” your sister exclaimed looking at your shocked face. You then grabbed your beer from its spot chugging down the rest, your sister looking at you with wide eyes as she watched the liquid disappear from the plastic cup. You set it down standing up from your seat.
“I’m gonna go to the bathroom” you stated before beginning you ascend up the ridiculous amount of stairs, but your sister noticed that something was wrong following quickly behind as you were almost running up the stairs.
“Y/n are you okay, why are you acting so weird” your sister pried as you walked towards the bathrooms not even knowing where to start. “Y/n don’t ignore me” she grabbed your wrist dragging you towards an empty area. “Spill”
“That’s bakery Harry” you stated and her eyes went wide her jaw-dropping to the floor.
“What” she almost screeched making a few people walking by turn their heads.
“Please calm down” you begged putting your hands on your temples. “Jesus my brain feels like it's going on overdrive”
“Didn’t you say he was a businessman” Rory exclaimed before she started to laugh, and you looked at her in confusion?
“Why are you laughing” you pressed.
“Because when he said he was on a business trip he literally had a series with the brewers last week, and the fact that you managed to not know who he was and start falling for a fucking baseball player is actually the most ironic thing ever” she laughed.
“Rory, I literally told him about how much I hate baseball because he literally asked me about it, and that's probably why he didn’t tell me, and I literally insulted his sport oh my god I’m never leaving the house again I can’t face him after this I’m so embarrassed” you groaned. You weren’t even mad that he practically lied about his job because after you slandered his whole career without even knowing he was probably too scared to tell you. If you had known who he was sooner you would have run for the hills because the last thing you wanted to do was date a baseball player, but now unfortunately you liked him, a lot, and despite the fact that he literally is a major league baseball player who still liked him, but now you wanted to bury your head in the sand and never see him again because you not only felt horrible, but you were embarrassed.
“Well he obviously likes you since you basically bashed his literal career and he was still interested in you, and lied so that you wouldn’t know probably so you wouldn’t stop talking to him” Rory theorized and you nodded.
“I cannot go back out there if I make eye contact with him again I’ll die internally” you groaned.
“We told Evan we would watch the whole game we have to go back, so let's get another drink in you and hopefully that will calm your nerves” she encouraged before grabbing your arm and dragging you back to the stands.
The game was long, and you did everything you could to avoid locking eyes with Harry again, but unfortunately, he was so mesmerizing that you literally could not keep your eyes off of him no matter how hard you tried. Once the game was over the padres ended up winning and you could tell Evan was embarrassed you had finally come to a game, and they lost, but your mother assured him it was fine as you met him outside the locker rooms. You were on guard looking around in fear that Harry would find you because you were in no shape to see him and you were hoping that you would have until tomorrow to prepare yourself to see him if he even came to see you tomorrow. You had been drinking a lot, so you, unfortunately, needed to find a bathroom your sister and Mom nodded as you walked towards the women's bathroom. You quickly entered the stall relieving yourself before going up to the sink your cheeks red in nervousness.
“Just chill out Y/n he's probably celebrating with his team,” you told yourself in the mirror splashing water in your face to cool it down before walking out. You let out a squeak when you felt a hand on your wrist pulling you aside your eyes meeting Harry’s green ones. You have drunk your body falling into his chest before stumbling backward a bit.
“Harry” you whispered.
“I thought you didn’t watch baseball games” he smirked. “But I did notice you enjoyed watching me honestly I think more than you watched your brother”
“Uh, Harry look I feel so bad” you started putting your face in your hands.
“Love, it's fine, I want to apologize for not telling you” he spoke prying your hands from your face.
“Harry you have no reason to apologize I sat across from you telling you how much I hate baseball when it's literally your career and I feel awful” you explained your words slurred.
“Y/n I get your distaste for baseball it's valid, I should have told you then and there, but I liked you and I didn’t want to scare you away” he confessed and you felt your heart swell. ‘He liked you’
“Harry, I know I’m not fond of the sport you play, but I’m not gonna drop you just because of that” you admit. “I know baseball is a huge part of your life and all but I care about you enough to put that aside” you confess looking down at your feet.
“You care about me,” he asked softly putting his finger under your chin forcing you to look at him.
“Yes,” you whispered.
“Good” he replied with a smile. “So does that mean I can get your number” you let out a giggle shaking your head at his comment.
“I thought you’d never ask” you laughed holding out your hand for his phone. He unlocked it and you added yourself as a contact before placing the cellphone back into his hands letting your touch linger. “I guess I’ll see you tomorrow, and I’ll have a victory cupcake ready for you since you won the series already with the two games” you smiled as you began backing away. You turned around excitement bubbling in your stomach the alcohol in your system making you feel bold.
“And Harry I did enjoy watching you play, I may hate baseball, but I sure as hell loved watching you play” you winked before turning away going back to meet with your family leaving Harry standing there cellphone in handshaking his head with a laugh before walking away to join his team.
“You played really well Evan,” you said as you approached your brother engulfing him in a hug.
“I’m really glad you decided to come, I know how the two of you feel about baseball cause of Dad, but if it makes you feel any better I haven’t talked to him in months” Evan sighed looking down at the ground.
“Look I know at times I made it seem like I didn’t care about your sport, but Evan, it was never your fault and my problems with Dad shouldn’t have fallen on you as well” you apologized and Evan gave you a soft smile.
“Hey no need to apologize I was a dick when we kids making baseball more important than anything you did, that's why I wanted you to come to talk to me, I wanted to apologize and I rather have my sisters in my life instead of my dad who cares more about the game than me” Evan frowned his eyes a bit glossy and you felt your heartbreak for him.
“You’ll always have us Ev, dads a dick” Rory laughed trying to lighten the mood before pulling the two of you in for a group hug.
-
That night Evan came back to your apartment and You, him, and Rory caught up talking until almost two in the morning before passing out on the couch. The next morning you had a slight headache. You looked at the weather seeing it was going to be hotter than usual so you threw on a sports tank top and jean shorts for work. You pulled on your shoes before slipping out the door not waking your sleeping siblings since you, unfortunately, had to open up shop that morning.
The day went by slow as you watched the clock anticipating Harry’s arrival. You thought about him all day wondering what it would be like when you saw him if he would ask you out. When the last customer rolled out and it was five minutes from closing you heard the door ring and a smile immediately crossed your face and you practically skipped from the back room. Your eyes lit up when you saw him holding flowers in his hand.
“So I thought maybe this time instead of cleaning we could sit together and share a cupcake, and then I’ll help you close up” he suggested.
“Sounds perfect” you beamed. “How about this time you help me”
“Oh god you think I could ice a cupcake” he laughed handing the flowers to you with a smirk that left your knees weak.
“These are beautiful Harry” you smiled smelling them before setting them down on the counter.
“Just like you” he replied and you rolled your eyes before grabbing his hand and leading him to the back.
“So the cupcakes are made throughout the day so we don’t actually have any baking to do, but you get to put on the frosting and the strawberry’s on top” you spoke grabbing the cupcake from its place. You then placed it in a place for Harry to ice it and walked to the fridge to get the frosting from the fridge. You stood in front of the cupcake holding the piping bag. “All you have to do is squeeze from the top and swirl it aroun-” you paused as you felt Harry’s presence behind you his hot breath on your neck as he looked over your shoulder to watch you his hands on your hips lightly heat shooting throughout your body.
“I got this how hard can it be” he chuckled before moving from your body leaving you feeling cold wanting him close.
“Well be my guest I’m expecting expertise from you” you laughed handing him the piping bag finding the spot next to him as he began to squeeze the piping bag attempting to circle around it. You watched him as he focused intensely squinting at the dessert. Once he finished you both looked at it before immediately laughing as the icing began to tip.
“Looks like the leaving tower of Piza” you giggled as he put his hands through his hair.
“Ya know it could be worse” he laughed as he added the strawberry on top of the messy mound of frosting. “Now let's eat this since its clearly not made to be looked at”
“We can just eat it right here so we don’t mess up a table” you suggested and he nodded. You grabbed a knife cutting the cupcake in half. You stuck your finger in the frosting while harry took a bite of his half, and you poked his nose leaving frosting on the tip and you giggled. He looked at you playfully before using his finger to get the frosting from his nose putting it into his mouth licking it clean. You hated to say it but it was extremely hot. The tension in the room was palpable and it’s been there since the night the two of you met. You took the last bite of your cupcake some frosting left on the side of your mouth. Harry moved in closer his hand swiping the leftover frosting from your mouth. You thought he would have licked it from his finger but instead, he pushed it towards your mouth his eyes watching your every move. You were usually shy and not this bold, but you were so turned on by him that you wrapped your lips around his thumb sucking the frosting off his finger, and you swore you heard him groan quietly.
His normally green eyes were darker, filled with lust, but neither of you made a move just staring at each other with lust. Harry's hands slowly fell to your waist pulling you closer.
“You are the most beautiful girl I’ve seen and I mean that” Harry whispered your face mere inches from each other.
“Thank-” you started but were stopped by Harry's lips upon yours. You immediately put your hands in his hair moving your lips against him. Harry put his hands dangerously low on your back pulling you closer. His hands trailed up your body until one of them met your cheek cradling it softly. Your lips moved together slowly your hands tugging at his long curls until the two of you were out of breath breaking the kiss. Your eyes still closed panting with your forehead against his.
“You taste like strawberries” he whispered breathlessly.
“Maybe because we just ate a strawberry cupcake” you giggled opening your eyes to look at his. You then leaned in to kiss him again but he dodged your lips making you frown.
“Love as much as I want to keep going if we do I don’t think I’ll be able to stop” he breathed.
“Who said I wanted you to stop” you nipped his ear making him groan.
“As much as I want you, I want to take you out properly first” he backed away and you almost whined, but the gesture also warmed your heart. As much as you would be willing to let him take you to the kitchen of your bakery it could wait until the next date.
“Fine, but at some point, you are going to fuck me here okay” you stated and you watched his eyes at your statement.
“Holy fuck” he groaned shaking his head. “Are you free tomorrow night?” he asked quickly.
“I’ll ask my sister if I can leave early tomorrow, can you pick me up here,” you asked and he nodded.
“Perfect I’ll pick you up at 7” you hummed in response. Harry then walked closer to you grabbing your hand to lead you out of the back. Once the two of you finished cleaning he walked you to your car that was in a parking garage less than a block away from your shop. Once you stopped at the car he kissed you on the cheek slowly pulling away.
“I’ll see you tom-” he started but you couldn’t resist kissing him one last time so you grabbed his shirt pulling his lips back against yours. Harry returned the kiss immediately his hands flying to your hips your lips moving against each other feverishly as you run your hands under his shirt to feel the muscles. Harry pushed you up against the car roughly causing you to gasp. He took the opportunity to slide his tongue into your mouth exploring your mouth while squeezing your hips.
“Bloody hell you drive me mad” he breathed as he kissed along your neck softly. “But I really need to go before I lose all my self-control and take you right here on the car”
“God I’d let you” you groaned as he rocked his bulge towards your center causing you to gasp quietly.
“Goodnight Love” he choked before quickly walking away needed a cold shower as soon as possible.
You got into your car touching your lips where his just were, a slight smile on your face as you started your car butterflies for what would come of tomorrow
