Some animation I'm working on, and so I changed the cats' names and Jin Cat's color
I wanna drop my little headcanon about the cats here hehe
Flower is a cat one of the villagers brought to the temple before the revenants came back. He’s super chill and loves people, so Kung Lao basically adores him.
Flame is a Norwegian Forest Cat that Lin bought so Flower would have a buddy. He’s curious, stubborn, and sometimes a total attention-seeker. Liu Kang loves how big and fluffy he is and since Flame’s the only cat without accessories, Liu Kang sometimes ties a little cloth around his own head to match him for fun. Now Flame is super attached to him. Liu Kang isn’t really an animal person though, so he just… tolerates it.
Flood used to be a stray that Duan Long picked up. He’s the only cat who hasn’t been neutered yet because Long is always busy and scared the cat might get hurt. Long spoils him so much that Flood has become a chubby little lazyball.
Fuzzy is a wild saddleback cat who kept sneaking in to steal the other cats’ food until she basically became domesticated by accident. She also keeps showing up because she seems to have a special friend among the male cats even when it’s not mating season.
Elbow is related to the same family who originally brought Flower. Three years later, they brought this cat to the temple too. He’s a loner, doesn’t like being touched, and bites a lot. He bit Kung Jin on the elbow once, so Jin called him “Elbow,” and the name stuck.
