Working on some side quests for my latest campaign, and ooooooooh boy have I created some terrifying enemies.
They're Cursed Automatons, an Artificer's creation twisted by the souls of murdered townsfolk. While their stats resemble the Warforged, they aren't fully sentient. The souls are trying to leave and the machines are fulfilling their corrupt duty to capture small targets.
Originally, the automatons were built to assist in the Artificer's workshop. His assistant, a violent and evil man, accidentally caused one to become possessed after committing murder close enough that the human soul was absorbed into the anima of the auto.
Now the assistant is obsessed with giving "life" to the other autos. He's succeeded in creating 4 of these cursed automatons, and the party (ideally) will arrive to stop him from creating more.
Here's why they're terrifying: their stats are insane.
Strength: 20
Dexterity: 14
Constitution: 20
Intelligence: 15
Wisdom: 15
Charisma: 14
AC: 18 (natural armor)
HP: 44
SP: 10ft (walk) they were too powerful, I had to do something
And their main prerogative? Instead of kill, weaken and capture. When their target has reached 25% hp, the automatons will attempt to grapple them. If successful, they will spend their next turns forcing the target into their empty chest cavity. If the target fails all DEX saves, they become paralyzed in the chest of the auto.
So yeah, TPK? Totally a possibility.
Heres a picture of Charlie playing guitar.
Charlie cat
So this is Charlie, he's the guitarist of the group and Harvey's BBF. He's chill and always trys to be a anchor to his friends
I still have no idea of the restaurants name, I would appreciate suggestions if possible
Maybe Petzone... something since all the animatronics are based of off pets
Harvey hamster, then the cat, parrot, dog and more... like a rabbit, chinchilla, ginnie pig...
A pitch
Would anyone like to read/watch a story based off of FNAF that, instead of a rouge pizzeria manager killing children and not getting caught while trying to cheat death, a evil government secretary doing immortal experiments on orphan/forgotten children and adults to find the secret to immortality and sell it? The souls then escape and larp as animatronics at a local animatronic restaurant as chaos happens...
This is my character, ERR. I'm proud of him
