𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗹, 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝘁𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱

On the third day of our road trip, we visited Basel and Freiburg, Germany. The two cities are closer so we decided to visit it in one day.

We first went to Basel. The weather was dull but visiting a new place excites us more than what the weather can offer.

We strolled around the ordinary areas where most of the locals were, just to observe the local life, until it felt like we’re getting farther. So we turned back and asked some locals on how to get to the city center.

Then we toured around the old town. We went inside the Basel Minster, which is a gothic cathedral.

Then the Basel Town Hall.

And we walked along the banks of the Rhine River.

I actually didn’t take a lot of photos. I honestly get lazy sometimes that I’d rather stay in that precious moment than clicking the camera.

We also didn’t dine anywhere here and the only thing we bought was...the souvenir magnet. It’s obviously way more expensive in Switzerland. Although I did ordered a green tea at a coffee shop when we arrived, as my tummy was a little bit angry, and it was triple the price in euro.

But I’m not whining about it. That’s part of the trip. And besides, seeing part of Switzerland is a dream! シ

When we’re about to leave Basel, we saw this colorful car parked outside a building.

We also noticed that locals use bicycles as their main modes of transportation here, which is very ideal.
