DAY ONE : BASE MUMBAI @ STUDIO MUMBAI
In the former cotton warehouse at Saat Rasta, BASE mumbai-ers from the Taubman College of Architecture and Planning, University of Michigan are introduced to our studio for the weeks ahead by Mitul Desai of Studio Mumbai. The courtyard that was a loading dock is now a garden surrounded by studio spaces. We are in the heart of teeming Mumbai yet in a sanctuary.......... with such great appreciation to Studio Mumbai, Bijoy Jain, Lakshmi Menon and Mitul Desai for having us here!
