(to Bashful) That stupid Smoogle just sniffed in my Smurfberry soda! Look at that! I bet it's full of Smoogle germs! Where are my binoculars? (Brings in binoculars and examines his soda) A-HA! I thought so! (walks over to Bashful) See? Full of Smoogle germs!

Bashful Smurf: (to Smoogle) There's one thing you should never do. Never sniff in someone's Smurfberry soda.

Rosalia is Farmer Smurf's rose with a Russian accent. She tends to get picky on what type of dirt she needs to be planted and makes rude comments about the other Smurfs, even going so far as to call Papa "Old Beard". The reason why she acts like a snobbish jerk is because she is lonely and desperate for a husband. She kidnaps Bashful Smurf and commands him to make her a groom or suffer from her prickly thorns. Thankfully, Grouchy Smurf comes to the rescue and saves Bashful from the dangerous rose. As of now, her fate is still under development.

Bashful Smurf is put in charge as Nosey Smurf's conscience/guardian and makes sure to keep his nosiness out of trouble. He suffers terribly at his job and all the other Smurfs call him out on this, all except Papa Smurf, Smurfette and Clumsy Smurf (whom they have sympathy towards the pain Bashful's been going through). After winning the Smurfberry Pie Eating Contest, Bashful proclaims that he's so happy to be in a competitive game for the fun of it. Most of the Smurfs will like him for participating. The next day, they'll go back to hating him again just to prove that nothing’s changed. This scene is inspired by "Bubbie's Tummy Ache", an episode of Cartoon Network's Flapjack. Bashful Smurf dreams about meeting a girl fairy named Violet (voiced by Julie Kavner). In reality, he is too shy to talk to her and has a hard time asking her out. This is based on Charlie Brown’s attempts to go with the Little Red-Haired Girl from Charles M. Schulz’s comic strip, Peanuts. Due to her slightly raspy voice and rough-and tumble attitude, she is athletic like Hefty Smurf and is willing to protect her friend from being made fun of by all the other Smurfs or on the verge of abuse by villains who despise Smurfs and fairies. Like Hefty Smurf, she is occasionally afraid of heights and can sometimes get easily irritated by Brainy Smurf’s constant nagging. She is not afraid to compete with Hefty Smurf on sporting events and they argue on who’s the strongest creature. The Smurfs are property of Peyo, IMPS and Lafig Belgium S.A.
