Shy bean pokes over Shinso's shoulder. Just comfy with him yet too shy to say shit.
@bashfulninja
Shinso turns his head to look at the smol shy bean. “Hello there, its been a while. nice to see yah.”
The ninja has tugged his sleeve for his attention. It took a while to find him but it paid off! Too bad she completely froze for a second. A lil wide eyed and blushing all sorts of shades. Instead of telling him what she had planned to, she got up and tugged her mask to kissed him quickly. That's all the bravery she had, immediately tugging her hat to hide her now red face.
He blinked for a couple seconds having just been smooched by the smol ninja. His brain taking a moment to reboot. “what?”

💌 I just think you’re amazing
✨ I think your portrayal is on point, but it also intimidates me
//How could you say that? This is so beautiful and kind. So heart-warming. I don't deserve such kind words. You are amazing. Thank you so much.
And how's my portrayal intimidating? I really am wondering about that. What do you mean?

❝ of COURSE i’ll help ya out, honey ! ❞ she had just set up a long routing for the ladies for the day, so... she had some time to help out the others around the bodega. usually the request would be from k.o., but her motherly instincts has her help ANY young folk out ! ❝ what do ya need, kiddo ? ❞ / @bashfulninja

That really hit home. Shy looked to him with wide eyes, it’s as if she just got some wisdom from an old master. Looking aside, she lightly tugged the flap of her cap to reflect on this. She’s still trying everything she could to be a more sufficient hero.
She’s very fast and very skilled--but she lacked so much as well. She could never hold conversations, she could never stay long enough for conversations at times, hell it took a lot out of her already to admit even the smallest thing to Todoroki. Someone that she had read about due to some events such as the sports festival or very vague details on the news. It’s so nice of him to take the time to hear her out as is..Strong heroes are usually the ones you see who are so confident, able to do anything, able to practically do everything. They never give in--and she honestly thought that she’ll never be able to be all that great even as a hero in the shadows. But..what he said really helped enlighten her view a little. Made her feel a tad better about herself, honestly.
“....I’ll be sure to remember that..thank you.” It took her a good while, but she finally spoke at a reasonable volume for the other. “You must have a fantastic teacher.”
He didn't really have anyone teach him that except life itself. His childhood years had been nothing but easy and for a long time he had lost his path towards being a hero but now that he could think clearly, he had been able to make those assumptions about life. Assumptions that didn't include any personal feelings like his old hate towards his father or the pain of missing his mother. Life had been rough on him like everybody else but this meant that he had been able to learn things which he wouldn't know if the events that changed his life hadn't occured. Matters like braveness, strength and the real essence of being a hero were easy for him to process and explain.
It seemed simple to talk about strength. Believing that heroes shouldn't break when they were human beings themselves didn't make any sense. Heroes were not always strong. Heroes could be terrified, humiliated and weakened but this didn't take away the real reason of saving lives. The hope they spread, the peace they brought on people's hearts and the smiles on their faces. Weakness was a sign of having emotions and using them for good. Braveness was being weak and uncertain and still put your life in the line for the shake of others. This was the real heart of someone willing to use everything they had to make society a better place to live.
He usually disliked saying those words. He believed that when Midoriya was trying to encourage others and boost up their confidence, he was dealing with a matter extremely sensitive and hard to handle. He didn't wish to interfere in any way of how others felt and viewed the world but she had seemed like she needed to hear those words. Those words which he picked very carefully without wanting to cross any line that had been set between them. “I was hoping that this was what you needed to hear” he simply said.
