so this blows

basically this year for my sister's sixteenth birthday my dad spent well over 1200 bucks on her.  Literally every fucking year my parents do stuff for her that they always say no to me about.

Well its my eighteenth in about 13 days. and I've been told the same as every year, we have no money.

Just once in my life I would like to do something fun. not to mention all my friends at school will either ignore it or do nothing again like last year. and of course my boyfriend is also not coming back until December so it sounds like its going to be bad again this year. Maybe they won't take my sister shopping again though, that hurt a bunch. "Sorry we have no money to do anything with you, but Mackenzie wants some new clothes so we're taking her out of town without telling you." So basically now I'm upset again because I'm the only one expected to have a job, pay for my own food and gas, and anything else, I am nice, and I do everything my parents ask me too, however I will get skipped over again for my sister who doesn't work, doesn't keep good grades, and is rude to everyone. My mom said I could go up with her to Denver next week when she goes to get stuff for a client, however it will be mostly decor shopping and again the if you want anything then you have to pay for it. I barely have any money left. :/ I feel awful and I feel bad about being upset over this stuff but seriously I'm tired of my parents treating my sister like she's this queen or something while I get yelled at for asking for gas money to get to school.

Have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe, the person you are following right now on tumblr might one day be a powerful politician, a noted scientist, a famous actor/actress or even an Olympian one day? That would be so cool. I know of a few people (archers) here who I would love to see in the Olympics and hopefully I'll be right there shooting alongside them.
