Basic Plumbing is the project of Patrick Doyle (Veronica Falls, The Royal We). Unfortunately he died before this was released. But, friends, families and colleagues made sure this excellent album has reached us.
“Keeping Up Appearances” has more in common with Mikal Cronin than Veronica Falls. No matter what, there is pop here, but Basic Plumbing lacks the reverb of Veronica Falls. This is more straight ahead power pop.
Patrick was a transplant to Los Angeles. As such, he made his support of the LA LGBT Center an important part of his life.
This is self-released.
