Since our next Havenridge rotations bring us into the wrenches, I thought it was time for a family overview. Yes, they are my favorites, can you tell?

Lola: "I knew this would happen. I knew she wouldn't listen. This is because you encouraged her!" Basil: "I swear, I had no idea she would actually drive it-" Lola: "Because you are naive, Basil! Get that car over to your cousin right now."

Iris's parents didn't waste a second. When Iris came back from school that day, the driveway was empty.

Back to Basil Wrench and his family! But let's be real, we all are here for Iris.

The only time Iris helps her parents in the garden is to tinker, so she's still very on brand. She also was allowed to keep the old wreck Dante gifted her and is close to finishing it.

Finally being as tall as her older sister, Esther really turned out to be the mean girl and tormented an already sulking Iris all Saturday morning.

Basil: "Come on, sweet pea, you know your mom won't budge on her punishment, don't make those puppy eyes at me now." Iris: "Please, I don't even want to drive any car anymore. I just wanna see Wyatt." Basil: "You really like that boy, mh?" Iris: "He's my best friend. We are always together! It's unfair!" Basil: "Fine, I'll talk to your mom but no promises."

The mood was pretty tense all day; but it was Esther's birthday and Basil tried his best to lighten the mood.

Iris didn't participate in the celebrations and sulked outside.

Esther: "Are you gonna drive us to school once you finish the car?" Basil: "Iris is not going to drive. She's just restoring the car. Right, Iris?"

Iris: *quiet munching* Basil: "Iris." Iris: "Yeah...won't drive..."

Basil: "Good job, sweet pea." Iris: "Does that mean I can keep the car?" Basil: "Of course. Why wouldn't you be allowed to keep it?" Iris: "Mama seemed unhappy about it." Basil: "She's just worried. Your grandpa wasn't exactly responsible. We Wrench guys get a bit reckless around machinery, I guess." Iris: "Good thing I'm not a guy then."

Lola: "Are we not gonna address that our daughter is turning into a hermit, tinkering around with that car instead of going out with her friends?" Basil: "Iris never goes out with anyone, love." Lola: "That's not the point." Basil: "Seeing her like this actually makes me nostalgic. My father could spent hours with his old car." Lola: "I guess..." Basil: "She's not gonna drive it until she has her license. No need to worry."
