I just saw your reblog referencing Defunctland’s FastPass video and honestly I feel your pain. I’ve binge watched almost all of those essays over the last month but can’t for the life of me manage to watch a 30 minute episode of a new program…

Honestly though, the FastPass episode was fascinating so if you’ve not watched it yet I would recommend it.

I frequently cycle through random YouTube videos to bingewatch and I always end up coming back to theme park-related ones semi-regularly 😂 the ones about the history of rides and all the problems they might have had during manufacture and their opening season, or the ones about decisions to close particular rides/parks, and failed ideas and stuff... it's so addictive. Defunctland is such a fascinating channel but every time I venture in there I know that nothing else is going to get done and I'm going to be spouting random theme park facts for days. I will definitely have to check out the FastPass video.

other things in a similar vein that I get sucked into is food review videos for all the fast food outlets at a particular park, and urbex videos where they don't narrate, they just walk through the whole place for an hour showing you everything. absolutely fascinating, but rip to everything else I might have to do that day.

Hello! I am new to the Scriddler fandom and have been wandering around your blog and very much enjoying it, and was wondering if you could help introduce me to what I need to know. Good blogs, good fic, good art, important facts? Anything would be helpful. Oh, and I'm in Edinburgh so apparently pretty local too ^_^ Scotland fans unite.

Yass <3 Damn, these Scottish bitches represent! Do you struggle to say Scriddler without it sounding dumb af too? (I’m from Glasgow lmao).

Scriddler is a goddamn great ship and it has every variation of sickly sweet fluff to super dark shit depending on which take you want to find. The only important advice i can offer is to find what you like and latch onto it like a fucking barnacle cause other people can be mean about your choices lmao. That said, the Scriddler fandom is generally pretty chill but it can get caught up in nonsense like any other.

In terms of art blogs, i highly recommend and have seen amazing artwork from @mentalrhapsody @ritzy-biscuit @parvus-pica @gabbyvee @neuroticnygma

In terms of fic, first of all i’d like to rec myself (self promo? i dont know her), i post over at AO3 under DittyWrites and it’s mainly Scriddler and assorted Gotham Rogues fics (usually Eddie/Jon/Selina/Harley/Ivy tho).

Aside from myself, i’ve also seen some truly awesome fics from @roll-n-riddle @enygmass @vertibird @thebustystclair (which were written under duress lmao) @halbarry @lawful-evil-novelist @canadian-riddler and i’m also throwing @spyvstailor in here even though she doesn’t write for Scriddler but she does have a LOT of a A+++ Ed and Jon interaction in her RiddleCat fics (which is also an amazing ship btw *shifts eyes*)

These blogs i’ve recommend are those whom i either love, have interacted with or know are tits-deep in Scriddler but since i’ve legit just woken up if i have forgotten anybody then i wholeheartedly apologise and feel free to add yourself to the list xx

Hi. I just wanted to add my thoughts on what Robin said (even though nobody asked me =P). I think he knows the character better than anyone else, so I think he knows how Oswald's feeling. It doesn't reflect on anything or anyone else (I've heard people saying they're backtracking but no). Love IS confusing, and Oswald has never had a positive experience to learn from. I've developed crushes just because someone was kind to me, and that IS confusing. So it MIGHT not be true love and that's fine.

Hey I just wanted to say thank you for defending Cory in that ask! He's been so good answering peoples' questions when he really doesn't have to do that at all, and people are being so awful to him now. The writers are responsible for the content, not the actors, and I've seen people saying really vile and upsetting things about Cory recently because of this and he doesn't deserve any of it. I love that he interacts with people on Twitter but tbh I hope he does leave now, this is unfair on him
