MY STATE IS ON FIRE.

New South Wales is currently in an unprecedented state of emergency with our fire danger level at catastrophic. There are over 60 fires currently burning and less than 30 contained. Over 150 houses have been destroyed and the death toll is rising. There is a fire twenty minutes from my home. 

Vital wildlife is being destroyed. Innocent people are dying and homes are being destroyed and our government is doing nothing to stop it but continue to throw blame and deny the very real effects of climate change currently ravaging New South Wales. We’ve been in a severe drought since 2017 and our landscape simply wasn’t prepared for this due to their negligence.
