Simulated Basket Weave scarf progress: Honestly, I'm thinking about unraveling it, switching out half the yarn for something that coordinates better and starting over. Thought the randomness of colors would turn out better, but 2/3 of this thing is going to be red ( I did not want it to be this much red...). I've gotten way faster at loom knitting working on this as practice, actually set this aside for two other projects which are almost done, so starting over on this one scarf is no big anymore. #wip #loomknitting #knitting #knittingwip #scarf #basketweaveknits #yarncakes #knittingadventures #ahhhhh

Simulated basket weave scarf progress: Shout out to whatever marketing genius came up with yarn cakes. This color scheme is ridiculous, and yet they are so visually stunning next to all the rest of the yarn at the craft store, I ignored half of color theory and bought two for this project. (The yellow is about to turn dark green, oh boy...). Knitting-wise, It's the same hoop setup as the test piece, so the pattern should look similar, and it does. (That's good) Made one huge mistake early on, redid 2 sections. Just noticed a tiny mistake, decided not to pull apart hours of work and will be leaving it alone.
