NBA Back: part 3 (Random Thoughts)
Its Been a good 3 day Run but we have to leave you at the end of this post....
Not Forever Jackass!! but we are now at the end of the NBA Back extravaganza and basically I'll conclude it by just shooting off random thoughts that came to mind when I found out the NBA season is saved. Some of the things are worthy of a whole (almost) paragraph, while others are simple one liners. So sit back, relax and enjoy all the randomness my brain allows:
- I wonder who told David Stern and Billy Hunter it was Casual Friday at the negotiation table. Like Really? Both of you thought this would make y'all seem cool and accessible? Cause I just think "Hey lockouts over...and WTF is ebony and ivory doing. They plot to destroy the season and now they both show up in Drake Care Sweaters? Rasheed Wallace should punch Hunter in the throat so I don't hear him any more and can some one get Stern the fk outta here already?". So when we think NBA Lockout think of these to cheeky douche bags.
- 66 Games in the season and it starts on Christmas Day......I can live with that. I should have my copy of NBA 2K12 by then so it'll all be good in the hood.
- 3 weeks of what would have been 3 months of trades, waivers, acquisitions, training camp, locker room drama, chemistry issues, "i hate my _____" press conferences, suspensions, conditioning and preseason camp. I think I might enjoy the next 3 weeks more than any other.
- Who's gonna get fxcked by the new "Amnesty" clause besides Gilbert Arenas and Travis Outlaw. Will Brandon Roy still be in Portland (we'll have space in LA after we waive Metta World Peace Ron Artest)
- I wonder if Greg Oden will go to the Phoenix Suns, revitalize his knees and career to the point of Allstar, make a run in the West and be the greatest comeback player in NBA history..........................................................
- I wonder if only me, G Block and Killa are the only persons that know Jan Vesley is a maniac. He has NO mid range game. Its either deep 3 pointer or tomahawk dunk over your center; and we are perfectly fine with that. He might get rookie of the year but only cause we couldn't vote for his girlfriend (she plays basketball in Czech Republic).
- I think that Chris Paul and Dwight Howard will be moved by the end of the season. Where they go is a better question. NBA sources (i love nba sources... they are never known and might not be real but yet they know shit) say that Boston Celtics say Rondo for CP3 fuckouttahere while NY Knicks say they expect Chris Paul suited up in 2012. Dwight on the other hand has a wide selection of Houston, LA, Brooklyn, Portland or stay in Orlando.
- Will the New Jersey Nets go to Brooklyn
- Will Jrue Haliday play better now that he has an attractive girlfriend who might not be on Basketball Wives.
- Will I stop looking at Famous Women (NO!....I already look at none famous women so why cut Prime Rib from the diet but leave in hamburgers)
- Will Sheldon Williams lobby to start a show on VH1 called Basketball Husbands. Skyler Diggins, Candice Wiggins and Maya Moore's boyfriends will also star along with Lisa Leslie's Husband. Shaq is in cause he dated Hoops (not a player but sexy)
- Who's in the NBA MVP runnings besides Lebron James, Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryants Doctor/Mad Scientist
- What Will teams like Memphis, OKC and Houston do now that there on the rise and other teams won't take them lightly. Can they handle the pressure. Memphis knocked off an aging Spurs team and went to the wire with a really talented Oklahoma City Thunder squad without star forward Rudy Gay so do they get better with him? Will OKC solve there ball sharing issues as KD35 is clearly the franchise player but Westbrook has allstar in his mind and not to mention guys like Harden who need the rock to make this team deadly by spacing out the court. The Houston Rockets while they did not make the Playoffs was always a dangerous team and will always be that. They impact West Coast seedings and they have a team with about 9 guys that can get 15 points......but they lack that one Franchise SUPERSTAR. No disrespect to Kevin Martin but he is just an extremely effecient scorer/shooter and potential all-star because of it. If Houston can get that one magic player through trades they can channel there years of dominance as if Hakeem The Dream walked back in the building. Maybe another big man can help *cough cough DWIGHT!!
- Who will fall off the radar and who will rise from the rubble. Every year we have that one guy that looks as if he forgot how to play the sport properly and the lockout definitely won't help this season. To keep balance in the league we find that there are guys that usually rise from the ashes either a) Old guy gets back good (b) young guy makes leaps (c) role player/bench guy goes H.A.M.
- W.W.H.D = What Will Heats Do. They Got lots of money, an amnesty contract to destroy and guys like Nene (this nigga name is funny still), Tayshaun Prince, Shane Battier and Samuel Dalembert on the board. Deep pockets and Talent on Hand..... pains me to say I expect to see The Heat in atleast The Eastern Conference Finals.
- Finally..... my obsession with Kobe Bryant's new knees. Will the achieve the hype I put on them...................THEY BETTER!! ILLEGAL KNEEEEEEEEzzzzzz

PRESENT (ILLEGAL KNEES)
