Aetherdrift: Basri, Tomorrow's Champion

Ah, Basri Ket. Quickly introduced as a new, self-sacrificial planeswalker, and then just as quickly de-sparked in Magic: the Gathering's latest big story event. Hailing from Amonkhet, MtG's Egyptian-inspired setting, he made a surprising return in Aetherdrift as the co-captain of the all-chariot Amonkheti racing team. Described by the story as charismatic, dedicated, and wise, he's still got a lot of potential as a character. The wisdom of bringing nothing but chariots to a race full of flying motorcycles and Mad Max-style battle platforms though...

While Basri Ket might be the first de-sparked planeswalker I've brought to play in 5th Edition tables, there are several others also taking part in the race.
