Guests came over and they have two 13 year-olds. They haven't seen my bass guitar before (they have seen only the acoustic) and they were like: "Why do you have 2 guitars?" "One of them is an acoustic guitar and the other one is a bass guitar" "Oh, you play rock music, it's so lame" And I showed them that I can play any genre on it, but they still thought that me playing a musical instrument is lame 😂 I should have played some RATM in order to traumatize them completely 😂😂

I hate that I love Drop A tuning because honestly it can sound beautiful if you can play it well, but dear God on my bass it is damn near impossible to tune it to Drop A. And I'm not talking in the "wahhh it's too low waaah" I mean it like my Bass strings get so fucking finicky about the proper tuning. I tune one string 🔸️perfectly🔸️, go to the next string, tune that 🔸️perfectly🔸️, double back to the next and it's slightly out of tune. Fml.
My brain during ungodly hours of the night is like "Ooh idea for a kick ass bass line!" And then when i pick up the bass it's legit like "ahaha big instrument, play Mama by MCR"
