"Come to bed, Ray. You need some sleep, that or a shag because you're more strung tight than a violin string."
He sighed, “I’m fine, I just need to finish up these emails...” he murmured still sitting hunched over at his disk.

The ship is my: ...ship? like Man of War tho so like huge.
I consider this ship’s feelings: Mutual | Mixed | Strange | Awkward | Platonic | Sibling-like | One-sided | They don’t really like each other
I’d consider the relationship: Healthy | Awkward | Abusive | Doesn’t work properly | They’d never get together |
Children: No | Yes | They’d think about it
General Opinion: they’re so cute together like Seb is so good for Ray ugh and he has no idea why he sticks around, but hes so happy for it.

He was nervous, his knee bouncing, his gaze down. He didn’t like the men he was dealing with tonight, he was pretty sure it was some form of punishment for the last deal he tried to run without the bosses permission. It had gone well, but it had been a gutsy move. So now he was doing a simple swap, with just the people he hated dealing with.
As the train came to a stop and announced his stop he nearly jumped up to get off, forgetting his bag as he was not used to carrying one with him. He was already a few paces away from the train when he heard someone call, he turned back to see a man through the windows trying to fight the crowed getting on. As their eyes met the world seemed to explode and he felt as if the wind has been knocked out of him. Shock held him in place even as he watched the doors close and the train start to move. His soul mate shut on the train with his bag full of drugs and money.
“Oh god no...” He said watching the train disappear down the tunnel.
"When is the last time you ate?"
“...It’s been a while. I’m fine, really.”

It was a stupid idea, and it most certainly meant his death, running off into the snow like that. They were in the middle of no where, the dirt road they had been on was completely covered in snow, not that it lead anywhere. They hadn't seen a town or even a house in days.
When the tire blew and they ushered them out into the snow the temptation was too much. He could stay and be worked to death, helping the people who wanted nothing more than their labor and then for them to die, or he could choose his own fate and end it all much sooner. He had lost his shirt weeks ago, but he'd had a blanket, that was gone now. and of course he couldn't just get away cleanly, the gun may have misfired, but the knife had still been sharp.
He ran blindly, listening to them shout after him, it was a shame, but he'd die out there before the next morning it wasn't worth the effort to go get him. It didn't take long before all he could hear was the wind and his own labored breathing, and for a little while it was almost nice. He was out, he was free at last... but for what?
eventually his legs began to fail him and he tripped in a deep drift, sent tumbling into the burning snow. He struggled for a moment, he needed to keep going, just keep moving and maybe... but something caught his eye, off in the distance. It almost blended into the woods behind it, all covered in snow and tucked back against the trees, but the column of smoke drifting from it's chimney was the only real give away.
Sure there was a good chance whom ever lived in the house would turn him right round, but there was a chance that they might not either...
He staggered to his feet and made his way to the cabin, panting as he finally lifted his bound hands to knock at the door, too out of breath to even call out. He lowered his head and for the first time in a long time prayed.
"I'm going to make sure it's not broken, okay?"
He winced as he finally made it to the couch in their apartment, carefully lifting his leg to set his foot on the coffee table, his foot and ankle in some serious pain. He'd refused to go to the hospital for it and insisted on going home instead, as painful as the journey had been he was glad to be there.
"You sure you're gonna know what you're doing there?" he said weary of having anyone poke and prod at it at the moment.
"Pills first maybe?" he asked brows furrowed, he knew he had some of the good stuff left and this seemed like the time to use it.

He flinched as the hammer came down. So that was it, the man in the back had won, he was going home with him tonight, and would be under his control until he was bored of him. At least he was handsome looking, from what Ray could see. He hoped he was anyway, if he was going to be pleasing a man it would help if he was at least attracted to him.
Ray was escorted back off the stage and directed where to go to wait for his owner to collect him.
“He insulted you. I hit him. Seemed like the thing to do.”
"The sentiment is sweet, really, but I didn't even get to finish my drink," he chuckled as they hobbled down the street. "Is your nose still bleeding?"
