so i started listening to music, and reading poems, and my vibes were very shippy for a while, and then my sims got married so obviously that didn’t help??? anyway, none of these are written by me, aside from the third one. i saw them on insta or i read them in lyrics or smth, they’re incredibly romantic, very eloquent and passionate and sincere, so i hope you shippy angels like them!! as always, please DO NOT ADD ANY MORE PROMPTS TO THIS LIST!!! i will make more!! i am a simp!!

“You couldn’t be more right, “ he returned the squeeze, trying his best to cover the momentary trembling. He looked up at Ray and smiled brightly. “After all, I’m here to watch you sing.” The music hall was packed with patrons, the marquee outside illuminated with his boy’s name headlining with other styled musical talents. He was in absolute awe, coming in from the bus, to see the glamour & grandeur of it all. His heart swelling with excitement & pride fit to burst for Ray.

Ray grinned in turn, it might have been his biggest show to date, but what really made it special was having his Da here. “You know I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you,” it was his songs that inspired him, comforted him, got him through the lows and out of his rock bottom. He could still remember waking up to his Da’s soft lilt floating through the house on Saturday mornings, he knew it meant his Father had left for the day and they had the house to themselves, those were the good days.

He grimaced but could not admonish his son. William had been a real right bastard. “Can’t help old habits.” After all, they had been married decades, longer than he’d spent with anyone lest all by himself. Barely presented when the Alpha had proposed & spoken with his Mam about taking care of her son in place of his dearly departed Da.

“I know, but he’s long gone now, no need to spend any more time on him,” he gave his Da’s hand a squeeze. The old man had been a nasty one, and for as much as he has witnessed himself he knew there was a life time of it his Da has shielded him from too.

“Humor your old Da a little.” He smiled, remembering how determined he’d been that his child would at least know his mother tongue despite his husband’s protests.

“You know I would move the sun and the stars for you if I could, but what’s got you thinking about that old bastard all of the sudden?”

“Of course, but what’s going on? You only breakout the Irish when you’re feeling sentimental.”

((I’ve been off tumbler for quite some time, and I guess I wanted to see who’s still active on here and if should try to get back on.

I miss my Ray, and many of the bois he’s crossed paths with <3 I miss writing creatively with other people <3

I am on discord and I’m not sure if it’s just too fast or I’m too slow but maybe this format just works better for me.

Jack chuckled at Ray. It was true though. He hadn’t let him down once so far, stepping up to the myriad of changes and keeping up with Jack’s high sex drive  with no complaints. He still wanted to find another career for Ray but that was a conversation for later. 

He hooked his fingers into Ray’s belt and tugged him towards the bedroom. “You know a guy hit on me at the gym today. I said I have a boyfriend. He said ‘The pretty ones are always taken’. I said, well you should see my boyfriend.’  Then he wanted a threesome! Can you believe it?! But I shut him down.” Jack grinned at Ray. “As if I’d share you with anyone.”  

He was already tenting up his gym shorts as he worked the buttons off Ray’s shirt. He felt elated having the man to call his own, to enjoy his company daily. It almost seemed to too good to be true. But right now, there was more pressing concerns. Jack discarded the pesky shirt and caught Ray’s mouth in a greedy kiss.

Ray arched a brow as he listened to the story, shrugging his jacket off as he let Jack lead him by his belt to the bedroom. He laughed, he still got that giddy feeling when Jack called him his boyfriend. At first he thought the term was almost childish, like something from high school, but the more he heard it the more he liked it. It felt like it meant more, like not just sex, like something real, and dependable, and fun... He could dote on the term more later. 

“That’s sweet, but we both know its no contest on who’s prettier,” he hummed as Jack claimed his lips. With a deeper kiss he could taste the sweetness of the smoothie and salt of his sweat from the gym, and he loved it. “You’re just lucky I never got into acting.” he grinned as he pulled off his shirt and reached for Jacks.

The hardest part so far having Ray move in was giving up valuable closet space. But that was a small price to pay to snuggle next to his lover at night and wake up next to him each morning. 

He got to encourage Ray to eat better and Ray helped him with auditions and taught him firearms basics. But it was still early days, Ray hadn’t fully moved in yet and was still bringing bits and pieces back every other day now.  

Seeing Ray come home and happy to see him was still a treat for Jack he grinned and wiped the post-workout smoothie from his face. “Hey sexy!” He came over to Ray and kissed him. “I’d hug you but I just got back from the gym. And yeh, you know what that means.” he murmured. Jack’s hand roamed down Ray’s front to tease him through his pants. “You feeling up for it?”

He couldn’t help his grin as he spotted Jack, in all his post work out glory, he could taste the smoothie on his lips from the kiss. “if that means I get to make you even sweatier then we get to take a hot shower, then yes, I do know what it means” he chuckled, though the sound turned to a hum as he felt Jack tease him. 

“Have I let you down yet?” he asked in return with an arched brow, he even surprised himself with how well he kept up with Jack. Being around so often he wasn’t sure what was going to be expected or how well he could keep up, sure he’d have his nights now and again before, but having a /partner/ was something he wasn’t used to. “Why don’t we head to the bedroom and see if I cant help relax some of those tense muscles then, hmm?” He proposed, sliding a hand down his boyfriends firm backside, giving it a tender squeeze.

They are the best friend you have ever had in your long long life and you love them more than you thought you could ever love a human.

The only issue is that you haven’t told them what you are. The later it gets, the harder it becomes to tell them, and the easier it gets for them to figure it out on their own, but you are worried that they will be terrified of you and never want to see you again once they know.

You don’t realize you’ve been putting it off for about three hundred years. You’re so caught up in worrying about your own secret, it never really occurs to you that perhaps there is also something up with them.

Jack chewed his lip. He felt so conflicted. Part of him felt hurt that he didn’t get some big romantic moment like in the movies. But another part of him knew it was naive to be idealistic like that. That it was pretty romantic of Ray to wait outside his play for him with flowers. That was Ray showing he was trying.

“Tonight was such a sweet surprise. You’re right, you’re trying,” Jack said slowly, his mind sifting through everything. “I know that’s all I can ask of you - of anyone really.”  Jack sucked in a deep breath. “Whoever’s dating me has to put up with a lot. I travel a lot, might have to kiss someone on set, etc. So I should be prepared to make concessions too…”

Jack exhaled heavily and grinned wistfully at Ray. “Let’s give it a go!”

He was already inwardly cursing himself for being such a fool, to think that he could even get a shot at making something like this work. Things this good just didn’t happen for him, he’d made all the wrong choices when he was younger and now he was paying for it with things he couldn't change- He looked back at Jack when he started to speak again. Waiting for him to politely excuse himself and leave him with a sad half eaten slice of pie. 

So he was surprised when Jack seemed to come around to the idea. He made some good points he hadn’t thought about before, but it wasn’t anything he couldn’t handle... He could have melted into his chair, but he smiled and shook his head, “You are going to drive me to an early grave before anyone else gets a chance too.”

One bag hadn’t been enough, and Ray was finding himself with more of his things at Jack’s home than his own apartment. He had another garment bag over his shoulder today, the key was still new and shiny, but the feeling of sliding it into the lock had grown familiar. New relationships weren’t with out their troubles, but so far so good. “Jack? I’m back, and I picked up a bottle of that wine we were talking about the other day,” he called as he came in, still getting used to just letting himself in.

Brett shrugged. He hadn’t really thought about why it worked. “I dunno…it just gives me something else to focus on but not too distracting like an action movie. Otherwise I’m lying there and my mind wanders.”

He wiggled down in the bed a bit until he was comfortable, not used to sharing a bed with someone. Their bodies touched in places and he rather liked it. “Any other questions?” mumbled Brett, face mushed against his pillow. “It’s shit you’ve only got me to ask. I was crap at school.” 

Ray gave a thoughtful hum, the human mind was such a strange and interesting thing, and yet it seemed to work against its self at times. He settled on his side head propped up on a hand so he could see the TV over Brett. He had a good view of the screen as well as the man. 

“None that can’t wait til morning,” he said with a small smile, watching Brett rather than the show for a moment. “I don’t think so, I have a feeling I’d like your answers better anyway.” School had nothing to do with it, the things he was curious about were deeper than simple curriculum. He hesitated, but they were already touching, so what would be the harm in a little more? So he slipped his hand to rest on the man’s waist, his eyes going back to the TV.
