Honestly with the Bastion buff, I think he is still defeatable. Hell, in comp I saw a Mei take down a Bastion by herself. It was badass and scary at the same time. She froze him and shot icicles into the blue cube on his back which increases the damage done to him. I, a mere Ana main, was grateful.

I completely agree, it is really unfair the way he can move around and heal, completely heal himself through some devastating ults, but if you could him right then he is beatable.

Now, you say that you’re an Ana main, you’re probably one of the best people to take him down. Using your biotic grenade to stop Bastion from healing - that’s a good way to cause him a headache whilst the rest of your team takes him down - even using your sleep dart will give your team some much needed time to deal with everyone else and then the Bastion.

I played as Sombra quite a lot this weekend and she can make Bastion’s life a little harder. Getting behind a Bastion and hacking him will take him out of turret mode, confusing him long enough for you and your team to be able to do any damage.

The other usual suspects are there too, which I have mentioned before by using Tracer’s ult it is a quick way to get rid of a Basion (and an unwitting Mercy who might be very unfairly boosting him and probably doing a little damage to Reinhardt who is shielding him.) Obviously, with Genji’s deflect you could cause Bastion some damage and then a quick swift strike through him will probably be enough to end him.

As the Anon said Mei can freeze him and Winston will be able to put his shield over him to stop Bastion from shooting out. Pharah can keep him busy by flying above him, distracting him. Roadhog can hook him out of his turret mode. Zenyatta’s discord orbs can make it easier to kill him. There are plenty of counters, you just have to be smart and choose the right one.

I say all this and I know from experience how difficult it is to have to take down a good Bastion, but you have to remember that just because the enemy team picks a Bastion doesn’t actually mean he’s any good. It does take some skill to playing him, I played against plenty this weekend they were rubbish and it made it easier for us to win.

Just do research and pick good counter. Jeez, sorry this was so long, but I played a lot of Overwatch this weekend and found some pretty fun ways to mess with Bastion!

fuck overwatch, its unplayable right now, with idiots in my qp teams and bation buffed. fucker heals himself and mercy heals him, and now we can’t touch him. my beloved tracer falls behind all these buffs, and no one recognizes it. i quit for now
