Cymbiola vespertilio, also known as Bat Volute, Variable Volute, and Cone Shell, is a gastropod mollusk in the Volutidae family. Its beautiful shell is variable in color and pattern. The inhabitant is much bigger than its shell. They feed on other mollusks, and grow to a length of about 16cm.
Specimen shown was photographed during a night dive at Isla Reta Beach Resort, Davao del Norte, Philippines.
