I’m already terrorizing my beloved mutual.
I’M SO MAD I COULD HAVE READ THE SUBTITLES BUT I DIDNT CHECK AND NOW IM 1/3 OF THE WAY IN. I DIDN’T KNOW IT HAD SUBTITLES.
I could have sworn there was a 1920s beauty and the beast (i was wrong, it seems!) but I did track down a 1908 version on youtube... but it's 4 surviving minutes and still pretty deteriorated. seems the color might be the original handpainted color, though. in case this is of interest.
OH YES. I am doing a brief pause to watch these 4 minutes.

well that was entertaining, lol. kudos to the beast actor for throwing himself on the ground at the end of the clip.
Like just as a heads up, I will NOT be watching all of Belle/Rumpelstiltskin in Once Upon a Time, I’ve done my time in that fandom hellhole, I will be watching the episode Skin Deep though. Also I will have to suffer with Beastly again, it’s cruel to make me watch that garbage twice, I will keep it on as background noise. I can’t believe I’m considering watching the Beauty and Beast 2012 tv series where Belle is like a cop or whatever, like I have never hate quit something so hard. So we will see.
