kind of unhappy with how it looks but i finally pieced all the pieces together for a fitting test
Behold, the first try of the Robin Bag
It will need lining or an internal bag and some way to close it off, and it will probably get a (badly done) embroidery "R" for the chest.
The colors are wrong, the stitching is awful, the shapes don't fit at all, but you know what? I still like it because i ripped apart one plushie that was going to go into the trash otherwise, so i spent exectly 2.30 CHF up until now because i had to get red thread.
It's going to go on the Batbag (my bag with the Batman Logo which lacks an external, easy to access pocket) and will look so cool. I was thinking about making bats or batarangs or smth, but this is way cooler. 😊 I can also, if i feel fancy, make and add other pouches, resembling other characters (thinking of Poison Ivy, the Freezer, the Riddler or Penguin - anything that's colorful and not the ever-same Joker) or the infamous nipple-suits from the movies if i want to go metallic 😂
I'm also thinking about adding yellow pockets to the (plastic) strap. Was going to replace it with a yellow strap, but it's sewn on and done pretty well, and i don't want to risk the integrity of it. Maybe if i can find someone who professionally does sewing. Then i could ask for the strap to be made plus the sewn on part changed so it's a hoop.
