Things that I've learned in my history and politics degree in uni:
Can more or less accurately pinpoint a person's position on a political spectrum by listening to their talking points or asking some questions(can be really useful in picking people you want be around with)
Can see through bullshit in corporate speak, buzzwords, and measures taken in a company
Better than average media literacy and understanding what politicians and public figures are actually meaning in their statements
Understanding the importance of historical/political/social context when consuming media and how it can change the meaning of it
Understanding that we live in a fucked up capitalist hellscape and in turn becoming completely disillusioned with pretty much everything
