Celebrating Your Wedding Anniversary (Bruce Wayne x GN!Reader HCs)

A/N: My head is currently full of wool so I didn't know that yesterday was Batman Day until today.
With everything that he has on his plate (Wayne Enterprises, Batmanning, being a public figure, having a small army of adopted kids) you'd think that Bruce would completely forget your anniversary.
It has happened once or twice and he was so apologetic and spent a whole week making it up to you, but he makes sure that it doesn't happen anymore.
On the morning of your anniversary, he wakes you up as slowly as possible with plenty of hugs and kisses.
The feeling of his lips on your shoulders and your neck rouses you and you immediately turn over in his arms to return the gestures.
Does it lead to incredible morning sex? That's up to you, but it's highly likely that it does.
Bruce is a spectacularly terrible cook so don't expect him to bring you breakfast in bed.
If he does want to bring you breakfast, Alfred will have made it instead. Bruce just makes a very pretty waiter.
Flowers are a must. He buys you the biggest bouquet of your favourite flowers (among other things).
Even if you're not a gift kind of person, he insists on getting you something.
Bruce, of course, doesn't want anything. He has everything he could want, and just having your love is enough for him.
Your wedding anniversary is strictly a No Batman Day. You live in Gotham City, so bad things are going to happen out there, but the Batkids have more than enough experience on their hands to take care of things.
You could go out for dinner, but Bruce's celebrity status can make that pretty difficult. There are people out to get him, and people who are jealous of you so unless you somehow get a table somewhere private, you're going to be disturbed throughout the night.
Dinner at home is just as good since Alfred could make buttered toast taste like a gourmet meal. He's happy to cook for the two of you since he's happy that you made his son happy.
What you do for the rest of the night is never planned.
You could go for a walk around the grounds, cuddle up on the couch, or just immediately tumble into bed and stay there until the morning.
Bruce will never get enough time to spend with you as he wants, so he always wants this day to be special for you.

A - Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
Bruce wasn't the most affectionate partner in the beginning (thank the unresolved childhood trauma for that), but once he realised that it's okay to touch you and be touched, he couldn't get enough of you. He likes to be as close to you as he can in public and private, and he can be a little overprotective.
B - Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)
Relationships of any kind can be difficult with Bruce, but he's one of the best friends you could have. He's a very private person but he's also loyal and always willing to help you out of a problem, whether that involves money or not.
C - Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)
Bruce is only really a cuddler for you. He'll give his kids hugs but obviously not in the way he hugs you. Whenever he has some downtime (which isn't very often), he just wants to cuddle up on the sofa or in bed with you and just enjoy your company. He's always the big spoon, he likes being able to wrap you in his arms and bury his face into your shoulder.
D - Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)
Settling down isn't really in the cards for Bruce, given both of his lifestyles. The daytime life of a billionaire philanthropist and the night-time life of a vigilante doesn't leave a lot of time for a domestic life.
Is Bruce good at cooking and cleaning? Of course not. This man could burn a cup of water and it's well documented that he once fucked up a simple sandwich.
E - Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)
Bruce is a lot of things, but he's not a coward. If he had to break up with someone, he'd do it in person. Not over the phone, text, or send someone else to do it for him. Unfortunately, he's done it many times but it never feels good.
F - Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)
Oh, dear, Bruce. Commitment has never been a very easy thing for Bruce. Deep down he truly wants to get close to other people, but he knows that he can't. It took him long enough to open up to you, it takes even longer for him to propose, but once you're engaged, he wants to be married ASAP.
G - Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)
Bruce is a lot more gentle than he looks. He's a lot of hard edges and knows how to be scary and intimidating, but he truly is a teddy bear. He doesn't want to do anything to hurt you (unless you want him to) and he knows how dangerous his life can be for both you and him, so he wants to keep you at ease as much as possible.
H - Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)
When it was just him and Alfred, Bruce wasn't really one for hugs. He wouldn't really know how to react and would be awkward, but that changed with his little family getting bigger and starting a relationship with you.
Bruce's hugs are always warm and soothing, but there are moments when he'll hug you as if he's scared to let you go.
I - I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)
Bruce needed a while before he said he loved you. He knew that he had some pretty serious feelings for you, but he felt like he couldn't say it to you until he fully understood how he felt.
Once he did it felt like a giant weight off his shoulders and couldn't stop saying it.
J - Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)
Bruce isn't really the jealous type, but on those odd occasions when he does get jealous, it can be a little overbearing. He'll see someone try to sidle up to you at an event and immediately appear out of nowhere to remind them that you're his.
K - Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)
I may have written some headcanons about this already...
L - Little ones (How are they around children?)
Considering that he has a small army of children, it's easy to see that Bruce is very good with children, no matter their age. He never planned on being a father or even a father figure, but he's happy to have his family.
M - Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)
Mornings with Bruce are relatively relaxed, considering that he's 3/4 asleep and refusing to get out of bed. He hates being woken up and turns into the biggest baby when he doesn't get at least five more minutes.
N - Night (How are nights spent with them?)
It's no surprise that time spent at night with Bruce is very short and not all that relaxing. You've had countless sleepless nights when you've worried yourself sick about him, only for him to come home and reassure you that he's fine.
O - Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)
It takes Bruce a very long time to start opening up to you. Being in a relationship with him is putting a giant target on your back and he wants you to be safe more than anything. At first, he tells you surface-level things and once he knows he can trust you, he'll tell you the super secret things.
P - Patience (How easily angered are they?)
Bruce can't really afford to lose his patience easily. It would ruin his public reputation and also cause him to not think as clearly when fighting crime. He's had to train himself to stay as calm as possible at all times.
Q - Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing or do they kind of forget everything?)
Bruce remembers everything about you, even the smallest things. He knows exactly where you like to put things, the way you eat your meals and every little quirk that you have.
R - Remember (What is their favourite moment in your relationship?)
Bruce can never really pick one specific moment in your relationship that's his favourite. He cherishes every second that he gets to spend with you, but the times when he truly understood how much you trusted each other are precious to him.
S - Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)
Bruce is very protective of you, but not to the point of being suffocating. He respects your independence and doesn't want to keep you in a gilded cage but he wants you to be safe. Having ties to the Wayne family can be a little dangerous at times.
T - Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
Bruce puts a lot of effort into your relationship because he knows how much being Batman can get in the way. In the beginning, he had no problem with throwing his money around and getting you the best version of something you wanted, but down the line, he eased off.
U - Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)
Does moonlighting as a costumed vigilante count as a bad habit? Bruce has an incredible memory but there are times when he's so hyper-focused on his work that he forgets that there's a world outside of crimefighting.
V - Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)
As Batman, he couldn't care less, but Bruce Wayne the famous playboy needs to keep up appearances. As long as he's clean and his body is at the best it can perform, he's relatively happy.
W - Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)
It's difficult to say. If the two of you broke up, Bruce would definitely feel like a part of him was missing, but he wouldn't realise it until a while after.
X - Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)
Bruce has absolutely no knowledge of pop culture. He often has to look through the tabloids for things to talk about at galas unless you tell him about something.
Y - Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)
It shouldn't be said that Bruce doesn't like criminals. He can excuse something small like petty shoplifting for survival, but anything with serious repercussions is a deal-breaker.
That hasn't stopped him in the past, though...
Z - Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?)
Bruce gets so little sleep that any etiquette about sharing a bed goes out of the window when he does. He'll sleep diagonally and hog all the blankets and pillows but once he remembers that you're there, he becomes a total cuddle bug.
How Bruce Helps When You're Sick (Bruce Wayne x GN!Reader)

A/N: I'm not currently sick (for once), but I have been in a sickfic mood so here you go. Also, I planned to get this up earlier, but Kevin Conroy's passing made me pause for a moment.
Because he takes so well of himself, Bruce rarely gets sick. As soon as he feels a cold coming on, he's doing everything he can to get rid of it, but even that's a rare occurrence.
Alfred is pulling septuple duty in his roles as butler, chef, cleaner, medic, valet, assistant detective, and surrogate father so he has been the one to help Bruce on those rare instances of sickness.
When you get sick, however, he's a lot less prepared.
Bruce is usually very calm and collected, but seeing you be ill or hurt puts him in overprotective mode.
You could have the smallest, most insignificant virus and he'll insist on bedrest for a week.
No matter how much you try to convince him that he doesn't need to hang around you all the time, he insists on it.
You have to admit, the company is very nice.
He tries his best to give you the same remedies that Alfred has given him in the past, but given his extreme lack of cooking skills, it's probably for the best if he stays away from giving you food.
At some point you have to send him off to work - whether that's daytime work or night-time work - because his constant hanging around can't be very good for his health.
He doesn't show it very often, but Bruce really does worry about you. A lot more than you'd think.

Let the record show that Bruce Wayne is one of the best - if not, the best - kissers in the world.
His technique is perfect and he always knows what you want from him, and that includes his mouth.
He keeps his lips soft and moisturised for you even if you don't mind them being just a little chapped. He wants you to feel comfortable though and it wouldn't embarrass him if people found out he used lip balm.
His movements are always soft and gentle, never aggressive. He won't just grab hold of your head and mash his lips into yours.
He doesn't get to spend nearly as much time with you as he would like so he takes things slowly.
He always starts by tracing the shape of your jaw with the tips of his fingers before gently pulling you in to kiss you, his lips just brushing against yours so he can feel your breath on his skin.
Sometimes his kisses are intentionally too soft, just to tease you and make you impatient.
Once he makes true contact and captures your lips, your whole body just melts into him. He always keeps his movements deliberate, he knows exactly which of your buttons to push and how hard to push them.
When you break away to catch your breath he moves on to kiss the underside of your jaw and your neck, which just turns you into a puddle of water in his lap.
Once he slips his tongue into your mouth, that’s it. You now have no bones, only jelly limbs.
He loves hearing you whine into his mouth or mumble his name against his lips.
The way he wraps his arms around your waist and pulls you closer to him??? Good shit right there 😩👌🏻👌🏻
Bruce has different kisses for different occasions (and also depending on who’s watching).
He always keeps his smallest pecks for when you're in a room full of people. Alfred doesn't need to see any French kissing while he's just trying to do his job.
He always kisses you hello and goodbye, good morning and good night. Even if you're asleep when he does it. There have been a few times when you've thought that you dreamed of him kissing your forehead but it happened.
His most passionate kisses are saved for complete privacy, whether that's in his office or at home.
He prefers to kiss you without his cowl on, but he knows that you don't mind it so you get to smooch Batman too.
However, if it gets heated he will yank it off so you can run your fingers through his hair.
Truth be told, Bruce just can't get enough of you and could kiss you forever.
Summer at Wayne Manor (Bruce Wayne x GN!Reader HCs)
Warnings: A couple of suggestive things but nothing explicit.
A/N: Fun fact: I actually hate summer, I think it’s the worst season so I kind of ran out of ideas towards the end.
Wayne Manor has a pretty grim appearance, but it can still look nice in summer.
The gardens are always pruned to perfection and big enough for you and Bruce to get a real walk in.
If you have a particularly green thumb, you have a say in what flowers and shrubbery goes into the garden.
Alfred is particularly happy about this because it takes some workload off of him (unless he hires a gardener but I doubt that because that comes with the risk of the Batcave being found).
Unfortunately, for those of us who have the worst pollen allergies, spring is the time to stay away from the gardens and just never go outside.
Bruce is more than happy to stay indoors with you when the pollen count is way too high, even if your eyes are so bleary you can barely see him.
When it gets too hot, you can always hang out in the Bat Cave where it’s nice and cool. Maybe you’ll even help out Bruce while he’s working.
The newer part of the manor is always a lot cooler (in temperature, that is) than the old part, as long as you don’t sit right next to the windows.
It is a guarantee that there will be times when you have to drag Bruce away from his computer in the Cave and take him outside for a walk around the grounds.
People will start to get suspicious if he looks like he spends all day underground (which he does, but you don’t want people to know).
Summer galas aren’t exactly the most fun because formalwear can be unnecessarily heavy and lots of rich people think that moving the gala outside would be a good idea, but there’s no air con outside.
Even though the nights are a lot cooler, you and Bruce still sleep with as little clothing as possible. Whether that leads to any steamy shenanigans is up to how gross you feel in the heat, however
Staying In with Bruce (Bruce Wayne x GN!Reader HCs)

A/N: I am very slowly working my way through some Batfleck smut that has been sitting in my drafts for longer than I intended so here are some headcanons in the meantime!
It takes a lot of pleading and begging to get Bruce to stay in with you for the night.
It’s not that he doesn’t want to stay in with you, he would love to stay home with you forever, but he just has too much work to do.
But once he sees how much you miss having him around, he will make time.
Does that mean that he’s going to go ham on his crimefighting efforts next time he goes out? Of course it does, but you’re just as important to him, if not even more important.
For the most part, staying in for the night is kind of Wayne Family Night.
You’ll have dinner with Alfred rather than him making dinner and then leaving it in the Cave.
Once Alfred retires for the night, you and Bruce mainly do your own thing, which is rest and relax.
Bruce is someone who manages to survive on very little sleep and is constantly pushing himself to his breaking point, so he needs to stop and slow down every now and then.
Cuddling anywhere and everywhere is an absolute must - Bruce likes to have you as close to him as possible whenever he can.
When it’s cold, Bruce will turn the fireplace on and the two of you can lie in a pile of blankets on the floor and be all cosy and cute.
Of course, there’s always the option of cuddling in bed - with or without clothes, it’s up to you.
Taking a bath together? Bruce hasn’t been much of a bath person for most of his life but he’ll take one with you.
If neither of you are in the mood to get more 🔥 intimate 🔥 he’ll keep his touches more innocent and calming.
If you are in the mood however, he won’t be able to keep his hands off of you and will whip you into a frenzy before he gets the chance to fully drive you wild.
For the first time in a while you’ll get him into bed before dawn and it’ll be the best sleep he’s had in a while: no nightmares, no tossing and turning, just his favourite person wrapped in his arms and helping him to drift off peacefully.
If you fall asleep before he does, he’ll stroke your hair and kiss your forehead and tell you that he loves you before falling asleep himself.
The next night you can’t get him to stay in again, but he makes sure to thank you for helping him relax before diving right back into his never ending pile of work.
Attending a Gala with Bruce (Bruce Wayne x GN!Reader HCs)

A/N: It’s been a while since I posted anything and I am working on one-shots but they’re taking longer than I expected, so here’s something to tide you all over until then!
Galas are a huge pain in the ass, but they come hand in hand with Bruce.
Arguably, getting ready to go out is the best part of the night, psyching yourself up for hours of inane conversation aside.
Bruce doesn’t really need a second opinion when it comes to clothes, but he always values his partner’s opinion so he will ask you for your thoughts on which suit to wear with which tie and so on and so forth.
Asking him for an opinion on how you look, however, is pretty useless.
Bruce is one of those “you always look nice” kinds of partners, even when you don’t need him to be.
“Do I look okay?” “You’re gorgeous, honey.” “I meant are there crumbs on my face, Bruce.”
If you're not the social butterfly type, galas are not going to be the best time for you, but Bruce completely understands. He doesn't like them much himself but they're a necessary part of philanthropy and his social work.
No matter what the tabloids say, Bruce does not see you as simply “arm candy”. He’s not paying you to attend galas with him to keep suspicions away, you’re his partner and he’ll always treat you better than that.
It is kind of your duty to stay by him and not wander off while he’s socialising, but he’s okay with you going to take a seat at the bar when your feet start to hurt from standing up too much.
Plus, being away from the Waynes’ old friends means that you get a break from all the usual annoying questions.
“Has Bruce popped the question yet?” “When are you having kids?” “He’d better hurry up and put a ring on that finger, you’re not getting any younger.”
Luckily, he’ll swoop in and save you once he realises that you’re getting annoyed.
As rude as it may seem, he will take you home if he notices that you’re particularly fed up. The last thing either of you need is to be front page news for getting angry at a charity event.
The car ride home is an absolute dream thanks to the much needed quiet and Alfred’s smooth driving.
Once you get home, the shoes are kicked off and both you and Bruce are tempted to crawl into bed fully dressed and just crash.
There are two warring thoughts on your head about this ‘they’ll get ruined if you sleep in them’ and ‘you’re in a relationship with a billionaire, he’ll just buy new clothes’.
When the next gala rolls around, you definitely have a whole new outfit to wear, courtesy of your very generous partner.
But when he has to run out...
Once Bruce excuses himself to take care of some ‘important business’, it’s your job to do some crowd control.
After this happening so many times, you’ve become a master of making up excuses for his sudden disappearances.
“Something came up at the company.” “There’s an emergency at home.” “He’s not feeling very well,” and so on and so forth.
There will be a few tuts from older guests about how rude it is for Bruce to leave you on your own, but you’re pretty much used to it by now.
And besides, Batman exists to do the work that Bruce Wayne can’t. For every $100,000 he donates to charity, another supervillain has gotten out of Arkham or Blackgate and that needs his attention too.
You try to keep a cool composure while he’s gone, but your guts will be in knots from worrying about him.
By the time you return home for the night, he’s already back in the Cave and un-Bat-ing (is that a thing? it is now) without a scratch on him so you never really had anything to worry about anyway.
He does say that he’ll try to stay with you the whole time the next gala, but you both know that’s not going to happen.
Lazy Sundays (Clark Kent, Bruce Wayne x GN!reader HCs)

Sunday is Clark’s favourite day of the week because there is very little chance that Perry is going to call him into work.
That doesn't mean that people won't need Superman, however.
If he does need to leave to help someone, he’ll promise to be back as soon as he can.
You understand because such is the nature of dating a superhero.
Clark’s ideal Sunday involves lounging around on the couch either reading or watching sports on the TV, or whatever you want to watch together (he can always record the football game and watch it later if you're not into sports).
Clark has a pretty normal sex drive so the two of you are more likely to have spontaneous sex instead of planning to get down and dirty on a specific day of the week.
You just hope that someone doesn't need Superman’s help while the two of you are in bed because you’ll be tempted to go and knock some sense into them.
Bruce Wayne
Day off? Ha, that’s a good one.
Bruce Wayne has not had a day off in a very long time.
Before you came alone the only spare time he had was the extra five minutes of sleep he somehow managed to convince Alfred to let him have in the morning.
But now that he has someone in his life, he’s a little more likely to stay home to spend time with you.
Unlike Clark, Bruce is a lot more likely to spend as much of his free time in the bedroom as he can because his emotional repression eats into his sex drive a lot.
He finally has you so of course he’s going to spend as much time with you unclothed as he can.
Crime never sleeps but the Batman unfortunately has to.
Sundays spent with Bruce involve a lot of sleeping because who knows when the two of you are going to get this much sleep ever again?
Between public events, Wayne Enterprises work, looking after five boys, and vigilante work, the Wayne household doesn't rest very often.
